Fallout series

I'm dying to know if there is an actual explanation behind the fish people, or if they're just slapped on there like the sex lizards/fuckable deathclaw in Frontier. Looking at the whole picture, I think I can get past or at least mod out(like pronouns/gender neutral bathrooms) everything else except for this.

The Thames is radioactive as fuck in this mod, there is a flooded area not long after the Fish people and stepping in the water gives you 347+ rads a second.

Or does it? Getting mixed messages here
Also, the thread does not like us much, lmao

If you're wondering who the person in question is, he's some random namefag that pops in from time to time. I have no idea who he is, or if he's thread worthy because 4chan micro e-celebs are worthless to me.

They played Beyond The Boulder Dome and that mod was even more boring. They will definitely play this, if they can get it to work and not crash all the time. Speaking of which, I wonder if they will do a watch-along for the Fallout show like they did for Halo season 1.
Did he just call us Kiwifaggots? Go back to the imageboard nigger.

There's a strip club, a cult of tribals that are naked and worship a canyon, a typical raider boss called miller, and a junkie that as soon as i saw i didn't have to do a bullshit quest again to get his signature, i instantly shot in the face so i don't even know who he was.

So far the majority of my experience is just wiping out factions. Its fun.

Radiation isn't what makes big scary mutated animals, it's the trace amounts of FEV in the air that linger on in the atmosphere after the nuking of West Tek facility in California aka The Glow from Fallout 1. The FEV, along with radiation, turned various critters big and mean. Radiation isn't magic pixie dust that turns people into fish no matter how much Bethesda or the COLON team wants it to be, so that's why I am asking. This may be my biggest turn off if it's not properly explained, despite all the gay shit they put in and how unfinished everything generally is.

What canyon? I thought the game took place in London and the map isn't even that big, is there a Divide style set of urban ruins?

Anyways, here is some more things I found:

Obviously, take this with a grain of salt, anybody can post anything on 4chan, however...
london acquisition links malware.png
...their site does host actual malware on it. Oh, and you are willingly giving away your Steam data if you use their downgrader.
This one is just funny to me

I guess nobody has the fence jumping loicense in London.

The game balance, from what I am reading, is heavily skewed towards melee and really shitty bolt action/pipe guns. With Fallout 4's gunplay, it's about as fun as it sounds, additionally the game is balanced around most enemies not having any armor...except then the game just throws an unedited Mirelurk from the base game at you here or there, which have 45+ armor and will tank anything your dumb british ass will have at that point. Most enemies from F4 are here, they're just reskinned, altho all the assets from base F4 and DLCs are still here as well, so you can just add them via console or mods. If you're playing the game, feel free to correct me. I am curious how viable the rest of the weapon classes are(Unarmed, Explosives, Big Guns, Energy Weapons, Automatics).

I'm disappointed in the enemy variety so far. All of them are reskins of base game enemies along with standards like feral ghouls. All of the raiders are pretty samey, no interesting gimmicks yet.

The mutant fish have extremely poor quality models, they all look like they're wearing Michael Meyers masks. They look nothing like fish and when I first found them I actually did think they were some sort of raider faction wearing Halloween masks, I only realized they were supposed to be the fish people when one of the dialogue options mentioned gills. At least in the Frontier the lizard people actually looked like lizards.
I think they were going for Shadows over Innsmouth, inspired by lovecraftian Dunwich buildings in 3 and 4.

Yea I get that but I wish they were a little more mutanty and visually distinctive.

People just with saggy gray skin isn't very visually interesting, they might as well just be regular humans at that point.

Maybe I don't know how uBlock works, but it directly says it blocked a Ad or tracking server, not malware. Also the 4chan shit is almost 100% someone stirring the pot because FOLON is no where near a Frontier-tier mess, at worst its boring and has performance issues. Making up a alledged Data stealing scandal for something a mod already on nexus and that has been on nexus since April does is a low tier bait.

Can anyone confirm if this is actually in the mod?

Fallout London has to have this song:

Also Michael Caine.
I really want to play oldschool GTA now. Maybe I will replay the London expansions if the mod doesn't work for me for whatever reason, but I will have to finish Fallout 2 first. It will give me enough time to finalize my decision(we will know by then if something truly awful is in the game) and for some performance/bug patches to come out.

Depends on what mutations you're talking about. Its confirmed that ghouls and wendigos at the very least are caused by radiation and not FEV, both existed before the war. Sheepsquatch as well. Most of the cryptids come to think of it are implied to have existed pre-war

Yeah, Ghouls are pretty much the only beings entirely effected by radiation, altho with how Bethesda butchered them lately I wouldn't look for anything past New Vegas as a reference. Most other critters, like Radscorpions(and other giant insects), Mirelurks, Radstags, Mole Rats and Geckos are a result of regular animals mutating over time thanks to the FEV, which also gives them the immunity or at least resistance to radiation. Then you have creatures that were the direct result of FEV experiments instead of natural mutations, like Super Mutants, Deathclaws or Wanamingos. Big MT seems to have produced their own little abominations, FEV or not, such as Lobotomites, Cazadores, Nightstalkers and potentially the Spore Carriers/Spore Plants. Lastly, we have Yao Guai, which are a special case: Much like humans who are exposed to radiation turn to Ghouls, pre war bears turn into Yao Guai. There has to be more to this, as they have to reproduce, but I am willing accept that these ones were actually mutated by radiation. Nuka World also has Ghoul Gorillas, so we know Ghoulification can occur in animals. We don't know how much, if at all, FEV played part in creating mutated creatures that don't seem to be resistant to radiation, such as Brahmin, Giant Rats, and various mutated animals from Nuka World. I have no clue about the cryptids as the less I think about Fallout 76 the better.

Of course, if you know jack shit about these games or you think you do because you watched a few Oxhorn "lore" videos, you will think that everything is created by radiation because haha funny 50s parody game with nukes and nuka cola!

wasnt there some debate from devs on the fev thing? either way i think the virus stuff mutating everything or most things is only marginally more believable and probably wouldnt stand up to much more scrutiny and is thematically kinda redundant and contrived in that instead of the governments negligence ignorance cruelty and folly ruining the world via radiation from a war that spiraled out of control ... instead the same except its because of a virus they created and radiation from a war spiraled out of control.
