Yeah but usually when people use other's words they give credit or say where its coming from instead of repeating it wholesale then telling people their retards for disagreeing before linking the video they stole the opinion from.

I said once i didn't need to watch multi hour long videos on fallout 3 to know why its bad or my thoughts on it and he just sperged out lol.

He genuinely acts like entire threads should center around his opinions whenever he shows up
It'd help if you and everyone else would just put him on ignore instead of replying to him shitting up pages with this back and forth shit

My streaming device crashed during the season finale so I am happy to report that the bethesda experience translates flawlessly to tv, very immersive

Because he has the true and honest™ Fallout takes given to him but his beloved video essay slop content creator.
Why actually play fallout 3 and form your own likes and dislikes when you can just parrot video essay slop like a good little sheep.
Because it happens all the time and Bethesda aren't even close to the only ones who do it.
Notice how people never do this for new vegas cause another popular 3 mods were removing the tint and proper ADS for all weapons including laser rifles only for nv to not have a green tint and proper ADS for all guns and a sight weapon mod for laser rifles.
I'm also gonna be daring and say, who gives a fuck? Anything they add to the games is "copying" because everything you can think of has already been done in a mod.
Being able to build your own Settlement also isn't that hard to come up with even without mod inspiration considering it was a main complaint with 3's settlements outside of megaton being shit.

But that's no fun :(

Direct consumer feedback as to what the audience wants in the product? Get the fuck out of here! Most industries wish they could have that level of market research thrown at them. Popular mods are the market speaking to what demands aren't being met, and it is implementing features that the consumer adds themselves, which is a sign of actually respecting the consumer. The fact that modern-day BGS isn't doing that and instead leaning on modders to pick up the slack rather than fulfilling an unforeseen want is the problem.

Oh, let me guess:
Gothic fan enjoyer? Yeah.
Funnily enough I've never actually played Gothic, I or II, but I'd like to at some point. Though the Game Dungeon vid wasn't really selling me on it.

My pick for something much, much worse would be something like Wolfenstein Youngblood or RAGE. I'm a major Half-Life fag and I'd say I like Fallout 3 more than Half-Life 2. not to say either FO3 or HL2 are bad, but more so that I think people blow Fallout 3 being "bad" out of the water. People don't know how good they have it.

Idk if anyone's posted this, but apparently there's a solo Fallout TTRPG coming out. So that solves my problem of trying to convince my group to try anything that isn't D&D or Pathfinder. I've actually never played a solo TTRPG before so this might be fun.

Was BL1 really that bad? I've heard the sequel mogs it but I don't ever remembering hearing it was bad.
It is just comparatively dull and lacking in character. As much as people rag on BL2 for being a reddit game (and it is in retrospect), it was a huge breath of fresh air from the grey and dull and brown and extremely serious edge of the era. Now every game is unserious!

Honestly, Fallout fans calling FO3 an abomination reminds me of the whole thing when diehard Nintendo fans who don't play anything but Nintendo games say that Mario 3D World or Sunshine are bad games. I'm not going to say any of the above are masterpieces, but they're all better then 90% of games out there. That being said, someone saying HL2 is worse than FO3 is certainly a new one.

Wanted to make a stupid list of fallout nv/3 mods i want to be made in the future

A good critical failures mod
A mod that makes certain melee/unarmed use ammo
A mod that makes big guns a viable skill
A good mod that makes armor change dt and Dr at the same time
A mod that changes armor resistance classes to be more meaningful
A mod that makes it so you can only max out 1 special Stat at the start of the game
A mod that makes strength and skill requirements more meaningful
A mod that lets you target the groin and eyes in vats
A mod that makes it that when you enter combat it costs ap points to attack in real time (this one isn't really a need for me more of a want to see how it would play out if everyone had to use AP instead of just attacking forever consistently)
A mod that has better traits for actual trade odds.
A mod that can make a perk or generally exp scale with luck with a small percentage chance. Similar to idiot savant just less likely to prevent spamming or exploiting
One handed trait mod
A mod that removes enemy health bars unless you have a perception higher than 5 or a perk like awareness
Rare negative / passive Stat boosting misc items
Mod that adds a throwing skill and respective perks.

I think that's all

I assume somebody's mentioned this before, but cleaning up post-Super Bowl has made it very obvious to me that Bottle Caps would make for a terrible currency. Even within the context of the game where they made the most sense, Fallout 1, how do the Water Merchants expect somebody to cart around and then sort out two thousand bottle caps? Thirty three is already enough to be a pain in the ass.
