Fallout series

Speaking about Nexus Mods, it's funny that they ban mods that remove a LGBT flag in Sony's Spiderman game and the content warning in the Tomb Raider remastered trilogy but they allow that kind of shit:

But yeah that mod is really useful, I also like mods that add DLC enemy and weapon types to the Commonwealth among other things. But I am also a disgusting subhuman weeb who should be shot and use the anime girl race mod and the mod that makes everyone it so my opinion on FO4 modding should be ignored.
Another thing that I don't like in Fallout 4 is the way the DLC weapons drop in the Commonwealth but not the DLC ammo type so it makes them useless until you start the DLC related to them.
"Keep Radiant Quests inside the Commonwealth" is a must have because that way you don't need to uninstall the DLCs, every Brotherhood and Preston Garvey quest will be on the main map.
I think maybe idk, I usually only bring Dogmeat along since I can still benefit from Lone Wanderer, and it feels wrong playing a Fallout game without a dog in my party, but that was also mostly back when I didn't use perk/combat overhaul mods.
I kind of like having Curie the autismo synth with me on adventures, lol.
I forgot another mod really useful if you have human companions: the mod that gives them infinite ammo, so they can equip whatever weapon you give them and use it. I gave Curie a nuka grenade :lit:

Every time. It makes no sense to not do it if you're a Legion player. Also, as much as I like Graham, he's keeping the map from me. The only thing keeping a self-interested Courier from murdering everyone there and leaving is morality.
I can never bring myself to do it tbh cause I just like Joshua that much.
i could never bring myself kill Joshua or choose the leave option. the other reason is to make that cuck Daniel seeth when you decide to stand your ground.
Same and also I just think its a much cooler ending, plus I do like how depending on your choices the ending slides state that Six's interactions with Joshua helped bring him some level of peace. I find it too touching not to go for that route.

Another reason why I wish there was a better place to get mods than here or coomerlab I mean Lovers Lab.

Oh yeah the ammos are level gated in shops aren't they? It's been a few months since I last played so I don't remember.

Honestly her, Nick, Hancock and for some reason Piper are companions I will use if I ever am in the mood for it but generally I prefer to do things solo with Dogmeat. I dunno why I am like this but I think it just feels fitting in general for the setting.

Edit: Words, just woke up.

I'm not reading 400 pages of Fallout appreciation, but anyone got tips for making the "perfect vault dweller" in Fallout 1?

Everyone knows in Fallout 3, you want 9 Intelligence and to rush straight to the Rivet City lab for the 10th Intelligence point, then take Educated at level 4 so you get as many skill points as possible. Some of the more astute New Vegas players will make caps playing caravan with Ringo and do the same thing by sneaking through Sloan and Quarry Junction to the New Vegas Medical Clinic. Is there a version of this form of munchkinning for Fallout 1?

I know the Brotherhood can increase most of your SPECIALs by 1, and in order to get in Lost Hills you need to visit The Glow, so what's the minimum I need to visit The Glow without dying of radiation? Is it possible to head straight to The Glow, survive to get an artifact, run back to the Brotherhood, get the Intelligence surgery, head straight to Necropolis and nab the Water Chip, head back to Vault 13 all within 150 days? Do the Brotherhood's surgeries require anything such as caps or an Endurance score per surgery?

For reference, I played Fallout 1 during my childhood, but clung to Tactics because I hated the time limit. Now that the patched versions have a 13 year time limit, I want to jump back in. But I'm not really a roleplayer, I am a munchkin that looks to "solve" games, so I really want to understand an optimal path to those Brotherhood surgeries, what restrictions they have and if they're even doable with the initial time limit.

Looks like bethesda is shilling a S.P.E.C.I.A.L edition with shitty fallout merchandise. So everybody can spend $60 US on games that have all already been given out for free other than 76 which has sold for less than $13 at times, and regularly sells most of that for under $3 anyway, some shitty useless cards and a shitty mini nuke shaped case, that totally has a sound effect included this time

The hilarious part is I already got that nuke 9 years ago. They sold it before Fallout 4 was released and it came with 1, 2, Tactics, 3 GOTY, NV GOTY, then had an empty sleeve for 4. It's got the dumbass bottlecap sound effect too.

I don't understand why they're selling it again with the two worst entries in the series (save for Brotherhood of Steel for console, that game was true garbage).

Its another consoomer push by bethesda to try to make money after the fuckup that was starfield. Not really that surprising really. What I don't get is the point of including 76 in it, given its an mmo and at this point anyone who is likely going to play it already has it and wouldn't want to start another account so why bother including it at all

When I wasn't rollin and trollin solo, I had Dogmeat. Or if I felt like stomping through the wastes delivering non-negotiable democracy I'd have Danse with me, cause boy it sure felt good to just waltz straight through any and every hostile zone spewing Lazer fire from a Gatling with my bro.

purge yourself of such weakness
for caesar
for the legion
for nova rome
Maybe if he wasn't a cuck who doesn't understand dialectics works. But that is also part of the charm of Caesar as a character, his own beliefs are flawed due to a poor understanding of what he is even talking about as you would expect from someone with less intelligence than a mole rat.

Have you ever tried going for a series of stealth kills with Nick using a revolver? It's oddly satisfying taking out an entire camp without being spotted if you can pull it off since revolvers don't have silencers.

I was actually legit considering it but like I actually find it a point in his favor in why I like him.
Yes. His actual achievements are impressive, especially for sub mole rat IQ. Sorry I just find him having lower intelligence than Snuffles hilarious cause it just shows how poorly representative of a character's abilities their stats actually are. Like there is no reason why people like Frank Horrigan or Ulysses have all tens besides "muh final boss".

EDIT: For clarity, it makes me like him more because it makes him feel more human to me.

Do those even do anything? What's 10 Charisma or Int going to do for them in terms of gameplay? I really don't get it. Just seems very stupid.

Exactly it is so fucking stupid from a design standpoint, like I get making actual combat stats like strength, endurance, agility and perception high but Intelligence and Charisma just don't do anything for NPCs afaik so it's pointless besides to make them look cool in data form.

It's not even something a normal person would know unless they looked it up on the wiki or into the code either.

The independent fallout wiki's decent for more reliable info but i have every belief that it will suddenly die without warning and it has to do with the woman who runs it.

tldr

kate darrow was an admin for nukapedia was globally banned indefinitely from the fandom network two years ago for the following

doxing a user in the nukapedia discord
singlehandedly reversing a majority of the fandom policies and guidelines for nukapedia and rewriting them to cater exclusively to her preferences without anyone's input
removing large swaths of content and pages in according to her new policies, gutting existing pages to turn them into redirects, tanking Nukapedia's SEO (and as a consequence, Fandom's ad revenue), and deleting revision history so that people could not undo it
being obsessed with a high edit count and making unjustifiable edits solely for the sake of making an edit (she's past 750,000 edits on the independent wiki as of this writing)
making a backdoor deal with some company (fandom outright refuses to allow admins of wikis to put them under contractual obligation, only fandom staff can do that)
spitefully removing editing privileges from other nukapedia staff and banning editors who slighted her in some way (it's a rule you can't do this without good cause)
unilaterally renaming guidelines (flexible advisements) into policies (hard rules) so you have to do things exactly her way
locking said policy pages with no justifiable reason to lock, so other staff couldn't revert her overarching policy changes
basically stealing the official nukapedia email and youtube channels after she was banned, by lying to fandom staff that she didn't have the password for them immediately and then privating them when pushed, causing them to lose access to a bethesda email portal used for press releases and the breaking of all video embeds on the wiki
banning a senior moderator out of the blue from the nukapedia discord and fabricating a death threat from them when asked why
knowingly lying about a sexual harassment allegation on discord against the former head of The Vault and current fandom fallout representative and threatening to use it to get him fired from fandom
generally just being a toxic bitch who stepped over everyone and played favorites with her friends, who also left after she got banned to staff the independent wiki

from what i gather, the independent wiki is a lot freer to edit as long as you put up with the moderation cue, but you run the risk of all of your edits being wiped without reason because someone decided to completely rewrite the page or turn it into a redirect

I always thought Caesar's low Int was meant to represent the effects of the brain tumor.

but anyone got tips for making the "perfect vault dweller" in Fallout 1?
Update:
-I went to Shady Sands for a rope.
-I went to Brotherhood to begin Become an Initiate quest.
-I went to Boneyard for Rad-X at FotA.
-I went to The Glow and scoured the first floor.
-On the way back to Brotherhood, I got the "Low Water" cinematic (100 days left). At Brotherhood, I was admitted at 94 days left and probably could have shaved a day or two off with more accurate "map exploration". I did not have enough caps for the Intelligence surgery, but I have 10 Luck, so I'll just need to do it again, adjust my path to primarily travel through desert, pray for a Nuka-Cola Truck (10,000 caps) and I'll be set.

90ish days to head from Brotherhood to Necropolis to Vault 13 seems totally doable. My first level gained was from turning in the holodisk.

I know Necropolis gets wiped out by Mutants if you take too long. The Fallout wiki says that entering after 110 days will trigger a Mutant invasion. Is this the first time entering? Is this delayed if you clear out the Water Shed? How does this hidden time limit work?
