In the game he has the only working pod in the entire world that can keep someone alive for two centuries. In the show these stasis tubes are basically mass manufactured by Vault-Tec for anyone to use.
If that's the case, then they wouldn't be able to come out of them, ever, since House is an immobile husk with a penis pump in the game. I know that these people survive 200 years later without being ghouls, so I am guessing the writers just assumed these worked like cryo pods from Vault 111(which Vault Tec actually produced, so why would they need to steal House's technology?)

A lot of the effects feel AI generated. I have a feeling it's a big reason so much of the blocking and camera work is boring as hell and lacks any kind of energy.
And he turns in the best performance by far. Though they should have cast Timothy Olyphant to play a rival ghoul he crosses paths with.

His opinion on anything is irrelevant, he's a poor man's Oxhorn with somehow even more soy in him.
The biggest retcons that I know of are the pre war jet, ghoul in the fridge and duracell fusion batteries that last less than 15 minutes(they are supposed to last 200 years of active use since they are miniature, self sufficient nuclear reactors). All of these are fixed with mods.
Not even talking about the effects. Just talking about the script. Everything that happens seems extremely derivative. Hell, even the whole arranged marriage thing seems like it was ripped straight out of "handmaid's tale." But people are also remarking on the "need to find my family" plot.

So when it came out that it was a sex pest's dream he must've struck gold talking shit about it. And even THEN he managed to barely do anything with it.
If Fallout: London and those other complete overhaul mods that take place completely outside of the Commonwealth have good writing then it technically can. If Fo4:NV (a project that's fucking dead in the water along with probably Capital Wasteland) were nearly 1:1 that would be a sure-fire win. If someone took the massive project of re-writing the worse offenders in Fo4 then I'd be so happy.
If your experience with Fallout is mostly 4 and 76 then this probably seems like a pretty good adaptation of the world.
What are you talking about? Capital Wasteland Project is alive and well. In fact, they're aiming to release the second of 4 DLCs from Fallout 3 as a separate, self contained mod soon. Point Lookout is complete, and Pitt is coming, then we only got Mothership Zeta(assets already completed, they're their own separate mod) and Operation Anchorage left before the main portion of the project is finished.
The thing about these big projects, they almost never come out. The Skyrim projects are 200% fucked, the Fallout 4 ones I have some form of hope for but after the fiasco that made Project Mojave even a thing there is little to no of that hope. I don't mean to be a doomer but it's hard to deny that it's highly unlikely these projects will come out in good shape, if at all. As with CWP, we'll see. I still remember the shitshow that happened when Bethesda shut them down (for a bit), and then "coincidentally" announced a Capital Wasteland creation that was shit on into irrelevancy. Spearheaded by that clown Elianora who had a tantrum about how much "transphobia" (what?) was being thrown their way. Point Lookout is "complete" if you mean a buggy mess, but at least it's faithful. Though I barely heard much about it for some reason? Amazing it's even released, let alone functional. F4: New Vegas specifically is in the same muck at the big Skyrim mods are, tranny nonsense as well as absolutely no direction.
Lmao that reminds me, I downloaded one of those collections on nexus, and one of the follower mods added in some pretty boy you have to save from being attacked by the Thalmor. Well after you save him, he starts calling you "brother" and I shit you not, a dialog choice is "I don't feel comfortable with you referring to me as brother, I'm nonbinary". I almost died from laughing at such faggotry!
The only companion mod I ever saw that wasn't gay and/or lame was Hoth, and it's probably because it released like a year after the game came out. Just a cool bounty hunter who don't talk much and wears his kills over his body.
Lol not even, not yet at least. CK isn't even out yet and the game is pretty much fucked if the DLC and CK doesn't bring people back. Trannies infest all modding communities because modders are usually the terminally online bunch that hang around communities built around their mods and spend every waking moment, instead of finding a job and being a functional member of society, "coding." Ahh, reminds me of a friend of mine who has first hand experience dealing with trannies utterly fucking over the work he and others put into a mod. They somehow manage to snake their way into the most influential spots of anything, business or modding teams, it's insane to think about.
Thankfully I have a higher tolerance for this type of shit but even then I only like less than 1% of follower mods. I pretty much use only /tesg/ followers anyway. I'm grateful that the Fo4 modding scene was so much worse than Skyrim's in regards to followers (as well as generally) so it's not flooded with cringe inducing followers.
