I forgot. Honest Hearts is good. I love Honest Hearts. Take Honest Hearts and make that a whole game. Joshua Graham is one of the only characters in New Vegas that isn’t so insufferable that they need to immediately die.

Reminded me of when earlier in the week I did scroll through some comment sections on youtube videos, saw this one dude literally mocking the fans saying "THE LORE MILORD THE LORE MILORD" like that somehow makes him or anyone else mocking the fans look better.

I'll bear that in mind. I just started Fallout 3 today. I like the 1950s aesthetic with technology being green monochrome akin to 80s computers. Obviously, I chose a female to roam the Underworld. Funny how the FIRST choice for character creation is Caucasian. I love the vintage hairstyles they have for your choosing.

I don't like how the Pipboy obstructs your view for the character creation. It's odd to see characters talk and STARE at you while the world freezes. I'll get used to it. Vault Boy is so iconic; I thought Fallout was a cartoon.

Finally, here are my three skills to "focus" from my results. Marriage counselor. Never mind I tried to talk my way out of an friend's ass whooping.

Medicine, Melee Weapons & Speech. I don't care much for melee, medicine can be useful. I decided for lockpicking for the time being.

We will never have another Adam Adamowicz his art style was great. The green and greys were the style of the time because COD and all of that but it really works for 3.

You will get used to it, it’s always jarring at first.

Also your build is interesting I wish you luck, I’m not a big melee person myself too much like Skyrim.

Endurance - 7
Charisma - 6
Intelligence - 6
Agility - 4
Luck - 7

Shooting with VATS is immersive and satisfying. Oh, and I did kill the Overseer. I did not know that was a CHOICE until I went into a locker and found a password card. Oh, well. Now, I feel bad after reading his log on her daughter, Amata. I also saved Butch's mom. I feel bad for my only friend, Amata.

Well, if it's any consolation, they stop doing that in Fo4 and afterward. Meaning that Deathclaw doesn't freeze in time when you talk to someone. I hope you have a good time, because it's all downhill from here. It's always nice to see someone get into something that isn't a cock-wrangling fuckwit. :)

Shady Sands in the show was said to "collapse" in 2277, but then New Vegas takes place in 2281 and has NPCs citing Shady Sands as the functioning capitol of the NCR. Then in the show we see Shady Sands nuked into absolute ruins in the year 2281... but again, those New Vegas NPCs tell us Shady Sands is totally functional. For that to be correct the battle for Hoover Dam, Shady Sands being nuked and the total collapse of the NCR would have to take place in a span of less than 2 months, since NV begins in October 2281. Oh, and in the show Shady Sands is now Los Angeles... when in all prior games the ruins of Los Angeles was called "The Boneyard" and a totally different place.

If that's all tl;dr then just understand Bethesda is sweating profusely and insisting they didn't want to retcon New Vegas despite doing that. Either the show will receive adjustments or the writers will be whipped until it all makes sense.

As the thread's resident Honest Hearts defender, please shut up. We get you don't like NV and I can respectfully disagree but at this point it's stopped being amusing watching everyone else give into your bait. I agree with you though that NV super fans are absolutely obnoxious and deserve to be beaten with a golf club.
 
The worst part is having people you thought were cool enjoying this series. And I dont tend to hang out with normies, Im buddies with this one dude who's very based and think certain big noses are a bad thing and yet he sang his praises for TLoU and now Fallout adaptation. Dude said he despises LGBTQ and this series has that shit unnecessarily inserted in them and yet he said he liked it. He didnt play TLoU and played very little Fallout, maybe only New Vegas and 4 maybe but you would think he could see the laziness, the propaganda and the disingenuous-ness of it all.

Kind of makes me wonder how legit he is on his beliefs. Its really difficult to find someone these days that actually goes all the way without dropping the ball like that.

Anyone else had that issue?

Bad news is I pickpocketed the saloon leader after completing part of his quest and the whole town wants me dead. Good news is that I had an earlier save to backtrack even meeting him. Now, I managed to pickpocket the sheriff without the town going berserk and gaining bad karma.

How are you supposed to manage that?

I'd say 9 out of 10 people I know IRL that act "based" are actually consoomer faggots that are constantly going on about goyslop.

It's becoming cool to talk and post memes shit talking jews and the leftist agenda, but very few people seem to actually be willing to abandon this garbage.

I'd argue the same here actually, with the amount of people that ended up watching this entire series all the way through despite the fact it was obviously shit and gay.
 
The whole "NCR still exists in the show guys" Thing is such bullshit and a retcon made to desperately try and win back support from a section of the fanbase. If the NCR still exists why are there so many refugees in Vault 4, Wouldn't the NCR send out a Military Expedition to go and rescue survivors? The NCR still has supply lines that would have to go down past Shady Sands, even if they lost the Battle of Hoover Dam they still would have Areas way down south into Baja I believe.
Personally I don't hate the Idea of the NCR collapsing and being a failed state, but the show did it in such a stupid way with no explanation past "Oh Lucy's dad is Le Evil and also a Abusive Husband", give us a quick explanation of how it happened, you don't touch on the NCR at all in the show at all past saying it was a thing Just to kill it off for a stupid fucking twist.

Amen. It's the one thing I will actually praise Bethesda without caveats. It's been sixteen years since 3 and watching a dude's body fall in one direction while his head flies in a dozen different directions in slo-mo still doesn't get old.

Aint it the truth? Guy fucking adores Murdoch Murdoch (I think its just ok, production values for a web series are surprisingly decent) and yet he likes these shows ?
