It is like 90% fetch quests if you don't fuck up and trigger Chaos in Zion, that's what most people dislike. Personally I love the lore you can get from exploring like the Survivalist's storyline and Joshua Graham is in my honest opinion one of the best characters to come from Western media in general.

Nowhere have I ever said I disliked New Vegas. I just see it for what it actually is.

I wouldn’t say the things I say if I was wrong and also if New Vegas Fanboys didn’t act like they’re the one true sole fans of Fallout when it’s one of only 3 Fallout games they’ve played.
Most all of the major subhuman NV fanboys like Schizo Elijah (Rot in Piss dickbag) and Creetosis (Hopefully next) played Fallout 3 first.

They all claim to be these huge fallout fans who are trying to “save” a franchise that had less direction than a compass with no needle. Almost none of these Goobers have played the original games and if they did, it’s because of New Vegas and they played New Vegas because of Fallout 3.
Most people who played the original 2 games say 3 was a godsend.

Hell, even the devs of the original games say Bethesda did an amazing job with the franchise and the New Vegas people thanked Bethesda immensely for helping them any time they needed it with New Vegas. How many times does this “Bethesda hates Fallout” thing need to be debunked by your beloved non Bethesda Fallout devs before you’ll let it go?

Again NV fanboys are fucking annoying like all super fans are, I say this as someone who considers NV one of his top ten favorite games of all time. It's the epitome of a flawed masterpiece imo, the sum of its parts more than outweigh its issues.

Personally as someone who has played everything besides 76 3 is my least favorite overall, I will say its a game I am glad exists if not for reviving the franchise but at its core its less fun than 4 for me, which I have talked about my feelings on multiple times in this thread, and has weaker writing than the original games and NV. Well that and the portrayal of DC really irks me as someone who spent a lot of time in that area so the missing districts and whatnot just trigger my OCD and autism, also the lack of true iron sights hurts it for me. Where 4 falls is as an RPG which is part of what makes NV so enjoyable, the freedom of choice and variety. Even in Lonesome Road you can outright refuse the canon backstory Ulysses tries to force onto you and stick with your original headcanon for your Courier's backstory if you wanted and I appreciate that. But do you also have a single source to back that claim up as I have never seen anyone say that, almost every hardcore 1/2 fan I have seen LOATHES 3 onwards and only makes an exception for NV because of how Obsidian was formed by old Black Isle Illumni who worked on 1 and 2.

Listen, I already made my case. Don't think I need to point out to all my exact favorite moments and examples. Just look it up on YouTube if you don't care about spoilers. Not going to remember every instance of moments I've enjoyed, especially when its been awhile since I last played. Cannibal didn't really have a RP use in Fallout 4 and was used only a few times in New Vegas. Lady Killer, Black Widow, and the gay equivalents however opened up quite a bit of opportunities for you that normally wouldn't be available. I don't remember Fallout 4 having many instances of these. Again, some of the RP perks are better than others.

Because Obsidian got fucked over hard and the story of it is incredibly interesting. There is a cut content series by TriangleCity that I use to watch a few years ago and it's a fun rabbit hole to go down. I will say again that Obsidian was way too ambitious for the situation they were in but still its neat. Shit load of cut content.

No not really. You can have optional safe houses without forcing settlements. What if my character has no interest in making settlements and doesn't care for the Minuteman? Again you're forced to side with them which is the opposite of roleplaying. You're railroaded.
(Also the fact that the east coast is still beyond fucked as if the bombs dropped a decade ago is another gripe I have).

During one of the ending slides for when you side with the NCR, she kicks the door down that was suppose to be your room to celebrate, but instead of you she just finds some random NCR soldier and sleeps with him instead. Only happens if you're male though.
Veronica is a lesbian but is the worst companion and probably one of the few instances of a poorly written character. Think you can flirt but she doesn't accept your advances. Don't quote me on that.
Funnily enough you can also flirt with Arcade as a women despite him being gay. I'm sure you can imagine how that turns out.

Edit: To add, being bisexual is actually pretty beneficial gameplay wise since you get a flat 10℅ increase in damage against both sexes.
