I return with yet another Fallout 4 Script Extender update, as of Yesterday the dev has managed to port over features from the Skyrim AE version of script extender removing the need for certain dlls the og F4SE needed. Dev has also said that after the next testing session if no major issues/changes come to light a prerelease version will be released for testing.
Keep up with F4SE Here for updates. F4SE being updated and working hopefully before the end of the week lets other mods finally start bug fixing and, if needed, update to support the new version. This also means Fallout London will be able to check the damage caused by the update and begin fixing where needed.

The Fallout London team lead has gotten some pushback from parts of the Fallout fanbase because of his interview with the BBC, calling him "entitled" for being upset the Next Gen patch released 2 days after their intended release date. Its truly amazing the lengths people will go to suck the dick of a company that refused to give a release date for a update for 18 months just to release it 2 days after the most hyped Fallout 4 mod ever. Though in all fairness out of context his words do sound entitled.

That's a Machine Games game. And sure, it looks like it deviates slightly from Fate of Atlantis, which is a shame, but I don't think Todd is personally responsible for either of those games.

Howard, an Indiana Jones fan, had previously pitched such a game to George Lucas around 2009, although the project did not move forward at that time, partly because Bethesda did not have the resources to develop it. In addition, Lucasfilm wanted to publish the game, a role that Bethesda sought to fill, and the two could not come to an agreement.

No, he wasn't. Instead is the sole reason The Great Circle is even in development this very moment. He is also serving as an Executive Producer for the game. You have been swindled.

Now I'm going to give the benefit of doubt for now, but it would be hilarious id the reason for why Fallout London isn't releasing is because you've got a Fallout Frontier situation, or it's just a lot of smoke and mirrors.
Wouldn't be the first time, and I've noticed we've seen very little of the actual plot for the mod even though it's supposedly finished.

I am worried that the mod is going to be Frontier tier mess, but I don't think them hiding the main plot is really a red flag.
My biggest concern with the mod, ignoring possible sex lizards or anything, is that the mod is supposed to feature Skin-Heads as a faction/enemy type, and I feel like that'll be a minefield of shit.

If you have some free time and wanna see some sneak peaks of Fallout London, I recommend looking it up on Art Station, lot of Concept art there. Possible minor spoilers though.

I really hope these two make it in, though given Lizzies death and Prince King Charles Cancer, maybe they won't.

How the hell is it entitled to complain about being given zero warning after years of your mod team having members getting poached by Bethesda to work on 76, how fucking reddit brained do you have to be

You must understand, Bethesda is a small Indie Studio.

A common line I saw was "Yeah, updates break mods Dipshit.", which is ignoring the fact the update was announced 18 months ago and didn't get a release date until literal days before Fallout London was supposed to launch. Hell FOLON actually had some extremely minor contact within Bethesda, namely a community manager, and Bethesda devs were shocked they hadn't been given prior warning about the release date, even telling the Community Manager to tell the Team about the date.

I fucking wish. Fallout 3 was Mad Max, with all the grit, gore, violence, and bleakness you would expect. Nu-Fallout is more like... Mildly Disgruntled Dan. Tonally it is the furthest thing from a Post-Apocalypse, it's more like, well, Borderlands. A wacky desert landscape full of generic bandits to shoot, quips to spout, and megacorps to be bad guys. It's a zoomer friendly apocalypse setting now.

The thing is that Bethesda doesn't have any reason for force these updates outside of malice. They aren't even good updates. Two armor sets and broken widescreen? Get fucked. If it was another Far Harbor it would be excusable

If I was Microsoft I'd flip Todd the bird, grab some core gamebryo devs, scoop up Avellone out of the unemployment line and make him lead designer, and start putting them to work on a pseudo New Vegas style stopgap game.

Microsoft is retarded though so at best we will get Obsidian to make it and it will be Fallout The Show : The Game.

While part of me wants to see what a different Dev Team could do with the Fallout IP, I feel like thats a Monkey's paw type wish where we get Fallout: Outer Worlds or Fallout : Nu-Wolfenstein.
I really hope that Fallout 3 remaster leak was real since I feel like that could work very well, Fallout 3 is a good barebones game with lots of room for improvement while also letting a New Dev Team try a Fallout game without having the concerns of modern writing thrown in.
 
I have followed this thread with one eye and just decided to toss my two cents in. I have played Fallout 1,2,3,NV and 4. I have enjoyed all the games in one way or another. Bethesdas Fallouts were in the category of chucking my brain to the corner and forgetting about anything else. Fallout 1 was the first CRPG that i played so that will forever color my mind. The series, i have not watched it, nor will i ever watch it i do not give a fuck. The lore to me is my last NV playthrough. Like many KF users i like drama discussion and debabe, all that jazz. What i don't like is grifters. Grifters who put their nose in and farm ragebait outrage clicks, it is so fucking tiresome and pathetic. I usually ignore it and let it go if it has atleast some entertainment value to me, but hell it has become so tiresome of latetly. No matter what the side is they spew out the rehearsed litany. Atleast give me a good shitshow spergout if you are going to argue, but no lets preach to the quire in our trenches. Sorry about my longwinded rambling. TLDR fuck the shit your headcanon is the true canon, enjoy what you enjoy to the fullest and don't give a fuck.
