Loving the series Silo so far and it's absolutely devastating how a fucking vault video game franchise has done so poorly in the actual vault part of things. Yes I know a huge-ass vault isn't part of the lore like the world of Silo, but man I'd love an actual pre-vault exit section several hours long, dealing with in-vault shit. Even the build-your-own DLC showed how absolutely devoid of creativity that part of the world is.
Instead of pulling up a chart and selecting your character stats, it could've been done like Silo, ie. a tunnel snake ahh stereotype starting in one wing, a scientific upper management kind of figure elsewhere. Again, not part of the vault lore in FO but that also underlines the creative bankruptcy of the franchise. Imagine if they had drugged someone into writing the narrative like they did for TES.. Shame.
