I like Independent depending on the kind of Courier I'm running. If I'm max INT and somewhat devious little feller, I don't see any reason my Courier wouldn't take over for himself. If I'm a bit more of a retard, House is the way to go.

I think even INT 10 still makes the courier kind of retarded, and they're not the sort of guy who''s going to be around for long enough to make sure the city doesn't collapse.
For every successful Courier there is, there's a hundred more quicksaves that occured shortly before they got mauled to death by some shit.
When the NCR realizes all they need to do to lure the defacto dictator of New Vegas to his death is to put out a radio signal inviting them on an adventure in what is actually a cave rigged to explode, it's all fucking over for Indepedant Vegas.

I mean, this all depends entirely on your own interpretation of your own character. The Courier is definitely prone towards exploration at the cost of their own mortal well-being, but you aren't allowed to play beyond the end credits, the independent ending is open ended enough that what your protagonist does in that ending is almost entirely up to you to extrapolate.
Quick saves aren't really canon. What your courier actually is come the end of the game is the single most badass nigger to ever crawl out of the wastes, with potentially hundreds of bodies, a potential legion of super powered robots under their control, a genius level intellect and access to all of Mr. House's left behind resources, not even counting DLC shit. Becoming king of an Independent Vegas and potentially running it well is entirely possible. The game doesn't tell you how it pans out for this reason.
Everyone who goes "Uh the courier would definitely fuck it up." Has crippling lack of confidence and small dick energy. MY courier will simply dickslap any problems that come his way

Just found this out recently, but apparently the mod Advanced Animation Framework (usually used for porn mods I believe) is uh...funky:
Not my screenshot, because I don't really use dicksword for more than tesg and piracy (lol those server icons, more than a few trannies I'm sure). Not surprising considering the mod author is one of those "muh Nexus policy" fags, but is so up his own ass he refuses to host it anywhere, any website that has a AAF mod page just links to his Discord lol. Someone has wrote a fix but who knows if it still works, so yeah...modders. I believe the LL jannies in particular are sucking his dick too, so any mention of another animation framework is banned.

OStim you mean? The only other non-sex related utility I know it for is Obody, which I use myself. While I don't care much for "immersion" it's nice to see various NPCs have various body types rather than just the singular.

It's old news but if you dust it off, it's just fine.
As for the screenshot- NAF isn't a drop-in (IE 'reformat xml and call it good') replacement and still needs a couple things added to be such for AAF, i think the big one that was complained about when i was reading into it was staged animations.
That was the original goal behind AAF (fucking supposedly), but it was never used for that.

Edit: Apparently TK Mantis, a "man" who made his career off reading Fallout wiki for his channel's "trivia" videos(just like Oxhorn but somehow even more boring) got hacked recently. Nobody gave a shit and apparently nobody here even noticed, which goes to show you how little he matters. Unfortunately, his channel is still up and the matter is now resolved, as if the world would lose anything if he were to disappear forever like Elijah.

Reading some comments of his video, seems it's not actually him, just someone wanting to profit off his videos or whatever he said. Real Elijah is gone for good, and it seems the fake one might be too since he got 2 channel strikes.
