Brooo the new anniversary edition is going to be soo good its going to be bundled with over 150 creation club creations that will take forever to download, fail to download multiple times and be totally buggy and cause more crashes and instability.>new fo4 update/anniversary version that will destroy script extension mods for another year

If the few creations I spent real money on (yes, terrible financial decision I know) then its going to be completely FUBAR. For those who don't know how bad its going to be: You know how in NV when you start the game they bombard with all the Courier's Stash notifications? In FO4, they do this for every single creation, yes, every single one, when you leave Vault 111. Some of them will even (the Doomguy armor and the homemade shotgun(?) specifically) just get added to your inventory right off the bat, so just like Courier's Stash you start the game off with items far beyond what you should even start with. Did I forget to mention that some of them are tied to quests, and now your quest list is flooded with tons of quests that take you to locations that you will not be able to properly explore for about 2/3rds of the game? Some of the easier quests also give more XP than you already should be given so now your leveling up at a far faster pace than what was likely intended.Brooo the new anniversary edition is going to be soo good its going to be bundled with over 150 creation club creations that will take forever to download, fail to download multiple times and be totally buggy and cause more crashes and instability.
I cant fucking wait for fallout 4 but with 150 more mods jammed into it

you can disable updates, right?
why not just do that?
are bethesda games steam's windows updates?
I don't think they're interested in making new Fallout games or even remasters since retarded whales are still spending on FO76.
Or maybe they can't. TE6 pre production allegedly started in 2014 so we're going on 11 years in development with no release date in sight. They clearly don't have the technical talent they used to.
what is with people and wanting demakes?
it's just the same game but shittier
yes, it even looks worse than the original

While obviously we will need to wait and see how it's handled when it comes out, the Next Gen update didn't do this. In the Next Gen update all the new items were added via quests you had to complete, so it didn't have courier's stash syndrome. If the few creations I spent real money on (yes, terrible financial decision I know) then its going to be completely FUBAR. TLR Anniversary Edition is going to be Courier's Stash on crack
Will it, tho? Anyone who actually cares about NV won't watch this garbage, the initial S2 trailer already made sure of that. The word you're looking for is that it will make them laugh, just like the blatant lore inconsistencies and general lack of quality did with S1. The TV show is a lolcow in cinematic form, absolutely nobody takes it seriously aside from the unironic Bethesda consoomer base(ie not real Fallout fans) and casuals who don't know better(also not Fallout fans). It will anger NV fans to no end and for that I look forward to it.
That's because they had the same artist. I don't have a problem with Bethesda's take on him, but I do hate how they corporatized him. He's just another brand now, like the bottlecaps(which is peak not understanding what this franchise is about), Brotherhood of Steel, Power Armor, Super Mutants, Nuka-Cola and everything else. Beyond parody, considering what Vault Boy represents within the actual games themselves.I don't like the FO3 version of Vault Boy onwards. At least New Vegas had the same design as FO1/FO2:

Fallout 4 speds deserve this>new fo4 update/anniversary version that will destroy script extension mods for another year

The way Bethesda handled the Minutemen in 4 is so bizarre to me. They are by far the most "please oh please join us" faction in the game, and the one you might be most tempted to end the game with, yet are the factions with the biggest problems. Worst companion, worst main quest chain that is really just a chain of radiant quests disguised as a "story" , and the worst faction lore.Apparently in the Fallout 4 CC content where you reclaim the Quincy Ruins, you take it back for the Minutemen but then you can’t even make it a settlement or anything, the Minutemen NPCs just sandbox in it with no other purpose for the rest of the game. In the lore it even used to be a Minuteman settlement, it makes no sense and is super lame.
Finally got around to doing a test run on this. In short, the mod is fucked, no incompatibilities it just straight up doesn't work. I am not the only one experiencing this issue either. Good news is that there is another mod to spare House, but it requires you to blow up the Securitron Vault, at which point House automatically allows The Strip to be annexed and the game considers this an acceptable outcome for the NCR questline(the entire House quest is skipped if this happens). Not the optimal solution, I would still prefer a Diplomacy Boy path for high Barter characters since the skill is so useless otherwise, but I guess this is more in-character with NCR anyways. The mod I am talking about can be found here>Doing an NCR playthru
>Don't like it that you have to kill House to finish this route
>Install two mods, one that lets you persuade him to willingly side with NCR if your Barter is high enough for Diplomacy Boys, or one that has him accepting annexation if you blow up the Securitron Vault
>Have both enabled, depending on what I choose to do
>Turns out that this isn't an option, having both enabled breaks the game
>Convince House to work with NCR, Moore doesn't want to hear any of it and wants me to kill House anyways
>I have to choose which way I want to deal with House before I even start the game and have only one plugin enabled before I even reach this point in the story
You would think this incompatibility would be something the mod author advertises front and center, considering he is responsible for both mods, but I guess not. I have to look for troubleshooting tips in the mod's comment section to find that out, after the point of no return. Did I mention already I hate all Nexus niggers? At least I have both mods, so if this incompetent retard decides to take them down due to "cringe" I still have them on my hard drive.
Well, this isn't promising, lol. I guess since the Minutemen quests are mostly bite-sized radiant quests, at least the playthru shouldn't take too long(I don't plan on doing more than bare minimum with settlements). I tried doing a Railroad run, twice. Both times I had to quit the last moment and side with Institute due to how mind numbingly stupid and cringe main RR quest and characters are. I will say this, it does have some of the best individual self contained content like gear and quests, not to mention ballistic weave, which is pretty sad.The way Bethesda handled the Minutemen in 4 is so bizarre to me. They are by far the most "please oh please join us" faction in the game, and the one you might be most tempted to end the game with, yet are the factions with the biggest problems. Worst companion, worst main quest chain that is really just a chain of radiant quests disguised as a "story" , and the worst faction lore.
Quincy could've made a fantastic set piece for the (nonexistent) Minutemen MQ. They could've even given Preston some unique dialogue for killing the man that shaped him into the person he is (Clint in Quincy), but he's not allowed to have a character even though he's the first human companion you get. Its like they looked at all the issues that the Yes Man MQ in NV has and said "we can do worse"
I did a playthrough with the Railroad last time and while yes the faction is pretty retarded as a concept I had way more fun with the Railroad than the Minutemen because I was actually doing side content and main quests instead of 20 radiant quests dolled up to look like a MQ chain.

I hate the fact that the Institute's laser weapons are so fucking weak, they're actually weaker than the standard laser rifle and that makes absolutely no sense.
I get if maybe they would want to have the Institute's forte being something else (maybe status effects, faster fire rate, greater accuracy) but its just a worse laser weapon than the standard with no real anything to stand out (mods not withstanding). And you'd think that the Institute would be creating energy weapons with a stronger punch (like an energy weapon with the speed of laser with the damage of plasma). A greater offensive to match the fact they have no Power Armor.
I know that SOMEONE might try to justify it as them having no interest in creating stronger weapons when their whole thing is infiltration and sneaking around and all, I get it but do they seriously think it wouldnt be disappointing that a weapon made by whats supposedly the most advanced technological faction in the whole wasteland* wouldnt be able to match the average laser rifle held by the BOS or fuck, a well equipped raider?
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
Oh and their weapons look like there is a cereal box on them

This concept art image never fails to make me laugh
"here's a bunch of original concepts that we thought were cool enough to keep in the art book, but we couldn't be bothered to create new animations so we just reused the laser ones and called it a day"

Adam Adamowicz's death is probably the greatest tragedy at BethesdaAnyone else wish fo4 had a similar atmosphere to fo3. It felt too cartoony and lively. It would be cool to see it wintry as Boston is near Canada like the mixture of sand and grass in tactics.
