one thing to note in the video is you can hear the securitron police whine from the intro trailer as a background noise often around the strip.
Noticable that a lot of the cut elements are little things that make the world livelier. Stuff that isn't worth bugfixing at the last minute, but is well appreciated.

Something I find interesting is that Yes Man exists during this build given the voice file (we got robbed of Yes Man yelling at us *sigh*)

I remember hearing that Yes Man was added late into development as a fail safe option, so I wouldn't be surprised if the build is around from when he started to come online as a possible endgame route.
 
Just about every modern dev is a soy faggot that hates guns. They don't even use real names anymore, I'm sure you've seen the frankenguns in the new Battlefield and Call of Duty games.
One of the most memorable aspects of New Vegas is the firearms selection and unique weapons. The game made me want to buy some of these guns IRL, and modern devs hate that.
Thing is in Bethesdas case this isn't entirely true. They had somewhat accurate AK's, a 1911 and a VSS in Starfield but the issue is the retards at bethesda just don't know how guns work. The 1911 for example doesn't have a working slide catch and is missing bits like the plunger tube.

I fundamentally believe the people at bethesda are the biggest anti-gun faggots on the planet and the fact they have to work on games to appeal to men who likes guns eats them up
and they channel this bitterness and stupidity into making the ugliest fucking guns so they can say "here CHUD here's your babykiller 9000, bet you hate guns now heh"

Bethesda also have been making fucked-up looking weapons in the Elder scrolls games since Oblivion such as the ugly and stumpy looking swords and the arrowheads in Skyrim. There most likely are at least a few anti-gun faggots at Bethesda but I really think it's just a case of incompetence from their lead artists.

Everyone rightfully dogs on Fallout 4's disgusting looking "assault rifle" and the nonsensical pipe rifles but they did make a fairly accurate looking PPK and an AK (if you disregard the fact that the ejection port is on the wrong side for whatever reason) so I think there's at least one artist over there who isn't anti-gun but just doesn't know how they work. I think Fallout 76 has some weapons that are accurate too but I don't care enough about that game to check.

  • There’s two sets of random ass “evil” yesman sequences (Yesman literally tells you to fuck off),
  • Fancy animated startup screen,
  • Doggie Treats prompt at Legate's camp,
  • Southwest Sewer still ingame,
  • Filler motel and hotel meshes intended for Strip prototype
 
Good to see these builds finally saw the light of day. This is no TGS2010, my beloved, but at least we have something close to it.
A hearty "Fuck You" to Traingle City and all the other discord troons that sat on this information for years and haven't bothered sharing the builds. Looking forward to mods that restore all this content.
 
I'm curious how much of the scrapped NPC stuff is new, I know Skyrim for example had tons of scrapped NPCs and voicelines floating around in the full release. It'd be really fucking cool if most of it is truly new so modders could give us a glimpse of what it could've been.

This should've been how it was from the start, Idk who though putting dinner bell behind one of the hardest quests in the game was a good idea, it's not like you can't find way better uniques without a quest anyways,

While I would like to think it'll inspire a grand new revival to the cut content scene, I'm also not going to get my hopes up for various reasons. There's no easy/good way to play the game, you can use xenia but as shown via screenshots here it suffers from graphical issues. I think so far for this version most of the changes are relating to visual/minor ones. I think the best thing left in was Ulysses' old lines, that's the real goldmine since it's bringing us one step closer to fixing the vanilla games biggest issue: the disparity between NCR & Legion content. For everything else, at this point we already knew a lot of what was missing, for example the two cut sewer levels, Marilyn, etc. What IS important is that we now have an official source for all of these beyond interviews/leftover strings, so now a lot of it will be less "this is how we think it should've been" and more "this is how it was supposed to be"

While I know nobody else cares, I would also like to see similar things for Fallout 3 and 4. Especially Fallout 3 in its earlier builds, Since there was a time that the world map was about 1/5 smaller (raven rock area wasn't there) and there was supposed to be a whopping 26 DC levels instead of the vanilla 12. As for Fallout 4, I'd like to see how the gameplay evolved, I remember a rumor that Settlements were a late addition and I'd like to see if anything remains of the cut Rapture-esque vault.

That and wanting to know why the Chinese AR was cut are my two biggest questions regarding 4's development honestly.

Like yeah we can probably assume that the Chink AR was cut so that they could force people to use that horrible abomination of a mixmash hodgepodge of LMG parts that they call an "Assault Rifle" and given that said Prydwyn of a rifle was labeled a machine gun in the game's files it is a safe bet that that was the case but I would still like to have a hard confirmation as to whether or not that was the case.
 
nvidia physx weapon debris is still possible to keep enabled when playing fallout 4 with an rtx 5000 series gpu as your main gpu. but only if you keep another nvidia card from before the gtx 1600 or rtx 2000 generation installed as your secondary gpu like im doing here pairing a gt 1030 with my rtx 5080(despite being such a weak card on its own the 1030 is still good enough to work perfectly fine when dedicated to physx processing this way even when running in pcie x1 lane mode with the way i have it set up on my computer, even if you have many times more debris on screen than in this video it still doesn't max out that card)
huh, still a gimmicky feature but nonetheless interesting to see it still giving some breathing space for ancient tech considering how these modern cards shit themselves when you try to run with these graphical features on them.

If the esm and esp files can be extracted then it's not an issue since then these guys will be able to rip the textures and whatnot from the game files. There's probably a lot of unseen cut content which exists as unused assets in these files too and no doubt some autists have spent the last week with GECK open trying to find anything that wasn't already known about.

This is what I'm waiting for, the problem is finding places where people are actually discussing/cataloging differences (outside of here)

Vivas las vegas already added a ton of npcs. I got ass raped at the rcf correctional
 
All this talk of New Vegas has made me wanna play it again. however, the game wont even launch for me anymore. I deleted everything. All mods, uninstalled the game on steam, even my old save files and the game refuse to launch. How do i fix this?
