The 187 drive in theater is directly outside of Novac instead of Primm
In episode one, the Drive in is at least a few hours walks from Novac. The scene involving it takes place quite a bit after the end of the Novac scene. There is a flashback, a part inside the Vaults Lucy came from, and then a scene of the ghoul and Lucy talking to a lady at her store prior to reaching the Drive In. Primm also shows up in the credits of episode 1, so it may appear in episode 2.
Whenever they talk about Vegas they either just call it Vegas or "the ruins" even though in universe it is explicitly called The City Of New Vegas.
It's referred to New Vegas in promotional material, and so far the only people I remember who have name dropped Vegas are the ghoul and Lucy. It's possible neither of them know it's called New Vegas now.

Yeah honestly it's the only reason I might consider installing one, but then you realize that there aren't really that many kids in these games by default
Thats always been why i saw killable kids mods as weird because unless you are that angry at the kids in little lamplight or playing skyrim you barely see any kids to piss you off enough.
Speaking of skyrim i adopted the flower girl from windhelm and sent her to one of the creation club homes but after a week she just disappeared and now some other random kid is just standing in my home telling me im one of the people who his dad said are why they can't live at home (khajit DB)
Some even stranger folks use mods that add children to hostile factions, for example raider children and Forsworn children
You know i take it back, killable children isn't insane on its own but it is if you also use those mods.
I'm more annoyed a book like lord of the flies, or something like IT gets no
pushback for their depictions of the same subject. but when fallout does something like
this, oh no the EU has to come in and say you can't do that:
It always boils down to interactivity, you cant make characters do different things or change how plot points happen with a book but you can in a game so boomer politicians flip their shit.
In episode one, the Drive in is at least a few hours walks from Novac.
I dont even think its the same drive in, the one in the show looks like the drive in settlement location from 4 over the OWB drive in. I think they are supposed to be different places.

It always boils down to interactivity
I'd argue there is some level of interactivity to reading.
when you're immersed in a story. you're actively filling in things that you experienced in your life into the book to make the perfect
image in your head. games scare people that didn't grow up with them, it's the newest medium we have and it has to go through
the same shit books, plays, movies and traditional art did to make people take them seriously.

those old fucks that decided "killing kids? you don't get to sell it here" while ignoring context out of ignorance are going to die soon.
they're going to be replaced by people who would be more willing to take games seriously.

to bring back the comparison to art.
artists in the renaissance era had to do, at the time horrible things to both gain knowledge and understanding of the human body to improve the craft.
you could've been arrested for wanting to cut open dead bodies to just see what's underneath the skin.
but that was a vital thing that had to be done to gain concepts like proportion. anatomy and the mechanics on how our body moves.
the entire renaissance era can be summed up to Movement. how the parts all relate to each other.

crazy people went:
"I NEED TO OPEN UP SOME BODIES" and we're STILL using concepts they thought up from that era.

everyone knows that the nigger women will be the good one and house the bad one. right?
They've given no real reason to think otherwise, but are bare minimum a competent writer will have some sort of payoff to setup. Nigger-lady (Moldaver) survived the war, and is worshipped as a living God. If they won't answer either of those then the show will have its fans abandon it ala Game of Thrones, Dragon Age, and other piece of shit media with formerly big fanbases. If you mean the other nigger-lady (Cooper's wife), then I'll throw the curveball that both she and House are good guys given this is technically a Nolan production, they knew they were doing season 2 in advance, and doing something without a twist isn't really par for the course.

How's the second season of the TV show ? Even worse than S1 ?
It's more of the same, Vault-tec is le heccin super evil who blew up the planet, awkward millennial humor that undercuts compelling scenes, the vault dwellers, feel totally superfluous, communists are dindus and Walton Goggins is the only good part of the show, etc;

Except now it is actively shitting on and messing up New Vegas directly. House is probably responsible for dropping the nukes, Novac was taken over by the Khans... somehow? And we know from the trailer that The Kings will be ghouls and The Legion are still fucking about.

The "xd random" humor is dialed up to 11. Watching Purnell give that cutesy speech to the Great Khans while Goggins is literally being hung took me out of the scene. There's just no tension to be had if Goggins is an invincible killing machine that destroys everything in his path.

Tension evaporated in season 1 when he was just shrugging off high caliber rounds with no consequence because ghouls are literally just zombies now that cant die unless they are shot in the head... even though there was that whole quest in Fallout 3 about how this is some bullshit only in-universe racists think.
