I think it was part of a farming mod in Skyrim. At least, I'm pretty sure of that, and I have no interest whatsoever in going back to find out.Gonna wager a guess....Loverslab?

I'll only play yes man if I'm playing a character with bigger personal ambitions that typically require them to become a regional dictatorI have no idea why New Vegas has so many communist trannies as fanboys over Fallout 3. My guess would be the political nature of New Vegas over Fallout 3 which was more or less Oblivion with guns. Politics attracts trannies and commies like flies to shit. The Yes Man ending especially attracts the communist trannies as they not only can indulge in their "Eat the Rich" and "Smash the Fash" fantasies when it comes to siding against the NCR, Legion and Mr. House but also this ending allows them to believe that their anarcho-communist utopia will work as that ending leaves you as the ruler of the Mojave which also attracts the trannies and commies desire for absolute power. This is why I never side with Yes Man in my playthroughs.
Weird since legion ideology really doesn't match up with fascism or it's tenets all that well and even has a sort of collectivist bentYou have fascist larpers who like the Legion
That's a stretch it's more likely that since there's no salvaging the story you can at least try to shore up the weapon variety and at least make it a gun porn game if nothing elseright-wing gun nuts who import models from Call of Duty for Fallout 4.
A lot of that post was facetious, but I'm not pulling that out of my ass. Most of them are legitimately right-wing gun nuts. In general, most modders with a political leaning aren't looking for any politics in Fallout 4 because there's not much to be found. The BLM and commie types playing Fallout 4 are making BLM and pride flags for settlements or Soviet ushankas instead of autistically discussing how the Followers are the perfect anarcho-communists.That's a stretch it's more likely that since there's no salvaging the story you can at least try to shore up the weapon variety and at least make it a gun porn game if nothing else
Fallout 4 is a fairly fun fascism simulator if you side with the Brotherhood and go al Ad Victorium on synths, ghouls, mutants and other wasteland scum.A lot of that post was facetious, but I'm not pulling that out of my ass. It can also be a realistic anarchism simulator if you go raider with you playing the role of local armed warlord who's decided your wholesome reddit commune needs to pay a tithe or else have their head skewered on a stakeFallout 4 is a fairly fun fascism simulator if you side with the Brotherhood and go al Ad Victorium on synths, ghouls, mutants and other wasteland scum.
When the TTW team are the voices of reason and sanity you know you are fucked up.About the textures, apparently the mod team was insistent that the textures be 4k like a next gen game. When The Tale of Two Wastelands team brought up how some computer rigs have a hard time handling 4k textures for Skyrim and Fallout 4 and that they should add a 1k and 2k option they ignored their worries and advice and added 4k textures only for the mod believing that everyone should fork over a small fortune on a new rig to play their "amazing mod". The hubris of the Frontier team.
It was a option because the devs realized that some players are retards who like to go full murder hobo on everything and if they killed everything they would have no way of completing the game. This is why Bethesda has their quest NPC's marked as unkillable much to the chagrin of murder hobos. The only thing I have to say to that is you are playing a RPG which focuses on quests and characters, not Doom. Want to kill everything than play Doom retards.isn't Yes Man a thing so the player couldn't make the game unbeatable by pissing off every faction imaginable?
I might tip my hand a little here, but I can appreciate that the devs were considering that either:It was a option because the devs realized that some players are retards who like to go full murder hobo on everything and if they killed everything they would have no way of completing the game. Originally New Vegas was suppose to be like Fallout 2 in that the factions had many faults and you had no choice but to choose one because the wasteland isn't sunshine and rainbows. I somewhat hate the Yes Man ending as not only does it give players an easy out from the politics and gray morality of the wasteland but also, and the main reason, is that most Yes Man players are insufferable trannies who believe that now that their in charge the Mojave will be a peaceful utopia with UBI and free HRT.
I do like the your reason for 3. The player can meet all the factions and come out after meeting them detesting them all. Coming to the the belief that these factions must be humbled and the only one who can do that is you. However, the problem that a lot of these LARPing trannies don't understand is that the Yes Man ending isn't suppose to end in a utopia. The ending makes it clear that there is still quite a bit of problems that the Mojave will have such as The Kings still discriminating against NCR squatters, some towns having a hard time dealing with raiders and crime, the Brotherhood harassing travelers for energy weapons. The Yes Man ending was suppose to be more or less like the Kill the Calculator ending from Fallout Tactics. The wastelands deals in a lot of hardships without the power of the Calculator but ends up persevering and coming out stronger from it. Problem is that a lot of players don't listen to the ending slides for the Yes Man ending and just LARP their ideal utopian ending. Case in point, every fucking fan fiction and Reddit post for the Yes Man ending.I might tip my hand a little here, but I can appreciate that the devs were considering that either:
1) the player is a mongoloid or otherwise has no interest in what's going on and just wants to run around going shooty bang pew pew. Case in point, I saw a friend of mine go to the bunker near Novac, kill the Nightkin without ever attempting diplomacy because he wanted the bumper sword, then did something stupid and pissed off the ghouls before accidentally aggroing Novac and going full Butcher Pete on them.
2) the Creation engine is a black hole of autism and suffering that may, without warning, dump plot critical NPCs into the void to die.
All well and good, but there's also the dark horse option: 3) the player meets with all the main factions and actively hates them, would rather see the world burn than any of them come out on top, or is otherwise interested to see what happens when, rather than help someone win, you want to make everyone lose. Rather than an act of an unthinking doorkicker, it's a calculated path to fuck over everyone possible out of sheer spite.
It's also leagues better than having insufferable self-inserts be made plot critical and unkillable because they can't stand the thought that someone might want to trepan said individuals with 7.62 in the situation.
As an addition to that idea I really appreciate that there isn't a single character you can't tell to shut up or just fuck off if you don't care or find what they have to say bullshit up to and including chris avellones' own personal self insert Ulysses in lonesome road there's just something about responding to long winded speeches about whatever with "I don't care shut the fuck up already"I might tip my hand a little here, but I can appreciate that the devs were considering that either:

The biggest Frontier issue I'd say that has nothing to do with drama or terrible writing is consistency of the art style. You have some really high quality looking models most likely ripped from CGtrader mashed in with gamebanana models made for CSS in 2008, with some weapons that looked ported out of a PS2 game. Throw in the heavy use of stalker and COD assets for the environment. My maximum load number in FNV was 98 but they were mostly quests mods, items and stuff like that, which is enough to have considerable frame drops, especially with high count of actors like the final quest of the Someguy Series mod that puts you against waves of hundreds of enemies.
The frontier is like a 300 mods collection in multiple BSA. Is fucking nuts! Besides the shit show of the story, the mods runs like shit. I don't get why they couldn't tone down a little the textures and scripts to make it manageable. Fucking pricks have like a supercomputer to run and test it, but most people who play FNV like me still have laptops made in 2014.
TGI and the rest are just pretentious assholes with money and lack of responsibilities, that's why they did such a shit game that can't even run on a 15 years old engine unless you have like 60g rams.
Precisely one of the reasons I get burned out from modding fallout. For every 2 good mods you find, you get 100 lame tactical mods, a dozen "NCR trans flag replacer" mods, and of course more mama milker cbbe twb presets.New Vegas and 3/4 attract retarded people from both sides. You have fascist larpers who like the Legion and commies who jerk themselves raw over the "politics" of Fallout for New Vegas, then you have the #BLM hecking wholesome chungerino and right-wing gun nuts who import models from Call of Duty for Fallout 4.
i geniuenly dont think any of those are trying to fix anything in Fo4, they're just there for the spergs who want tits and M4s in a sandbox game, you can probably earn a decent side hustle if you just port the models you use and harvest the donation points you get from emIt's always funny seeing how many tactical gun mods for Fallout 4 there are as all of them just wound up being unbalanced and overpowered while trying to "fix" the gunplay. It's a shame how some of these talented animators and texture makers are wasting their talents on modding a boring and broken game like Fallout 4 instead of becoming a professional animator.
That was something the guys of 4 Decent Friends said. Many modders don't seem to understand that Fallout was based on "Retro-Futurism". It was basically what those in the 50's fought the future was going to be like. That is why you see guns like a Colt Single Action and Winchester 1892 because those are guns you would see in the 50's. Mixed in with laser and plasma weapons that looked like they came out of a 50's Sci-Fi pulp. However, most modders for Fallout don't like or ever read anything with the words "Retro-Futurism". They instead want what is basically Call of Duty with an inventory. This is what happens when a generation doesn't read and is instead raised on video games and cape shit. The biggest Frontier issue I'd say that has nothing to do with drama or terrible writing is consistency of the art style. Generally for the most part I'm indifferent to modern weapon mods being in Fallout given the fact a lot of weapons well past the 50s and 60s appeared in the classic games. My biggest issue is rather overexposure of these types of mods. It gets boring seeing CoD and Tarkov ports for the 3000th time, or the same generic plastic looking instagram influencer preset wearing yoga pants and skimpy armor. At the same time I am generally annoyed by the spergs that will go out of their way to bitch about how every gun mod has to be a weapon made before World War 2.That was something the guys of 4 Decent Friends said. Oh they are doing more than that now. Ever come across the "Non-Binary/Pronouns" dialogue option mod for Skyrim? Yes because in a world that more or less takes place in the dark ages where people struggle to survive, feed their families and not get killed by a dragon raining fire on their village your gender identity and pronouns are really important. What shocked me is how the mod author for that mod went through all thousands of lines of dialogue in both the base game and DLC's just to add they/them dialogue options. The BLM and commie types playing Fallout 4 are making BLM and pride flags for settlements or Soviet ushankas instead of autistically discussing how the Followers are the perfect anarcho-communists.
I think in general when it comes to fallout autism, many try to handwave alot of "lul lul hyper advanced sekrit shit" having more anachronistic models when even examples of such in the fallout world still often had that tinge of retrofuturism, things like the sierra madre slot machines (literal fucking replicators from star trek pretty much), liberty prime and shit like the roboscorps still looked retrofutristic enough,The Frontier suffered tremendously from having the worst of both parties involved. You had guns that looked straight out of Halo and Titanfall mixed in with more recent weapons, and old weapons thrown in. They never had a unified vision or goal in mind. They just threw shit on the wall and used whatever stuck to it.
It generally makes sense why the tacticool weapon mods and skimpy armor get popular because the amount of unhinged autism that comes out of these arguments over retro-futurism or lore friendliness gets tiresome.I think in general when it comes to fallout autism, many try to handwave alot of "lul lul hyper advanced sekrit shit" having more anachronistic models when even examples of such in the fallout world still often had that tinge of retrofuturism, things like the sierra madre slot machines (literal fucking replicators from star trek pretty much), liberty prime and shit like the roboscorps still looked retrofutristic enough,
its quite obvious that most modders or modelers dont really have enough creativity to actually abide by the artstyle lmao, still i member when people handwaved the Frontier space station with "muh zeta" and the van buren shit that inspired it, you know, a game that was only released in concept
i honestly dont think its that complex, in my experience with nexus tards most of the tacticool or porn shit is downloaded by tards who just want their sandbox and wouldnt waste much time arguing about muh artstyle or the loreIt generally makes sense why the tacticool weapon mods and skimpy armor get popular because the amount of unhinged autism that comes out of these arguments over retro-futurism or lore friendliness gets tiresome.
What is funny is that Mother Shit Zeta is outright hated by most people in the Fallout community. Even Fallout 3 fanboys hate it too. One of the big reasons why is that Zeta tries to retcon the cause of the Great War. Instead of either the Enclave, Vault Tec or the collective paranoia and warring over resources and ideology of the Old World it was fucking aliens. Kind of takes away the impact that you come across in the Fallout games if it was all started by aliens and not the hubris of the Old World. Another funny thing is that TGSpy, DevilsWish and many others on the Frontier team loved Mothership Zeta, even considering it the best DLC for any 3d Fallout game, and wanted to implement it into the mod which is why that level is just a corridor shooter like Zeta. That is why the shitty space station is in the game. As homage to the worst DLC for Fallout 3.its quite obvious that most modders or modelers dont really have enough creativity to actually abide by the artstyle lmao, still i member when people handwaved the Frontier space station with "muh zeta" and the van buren shit that inspired it, you know, a game that was only released in concept
