One good thing about this shitstorm was that it got me to reinstall and play with FNV again. Even started trawling through Nexus for halfway interesting-looking quests to download.

I'm gonna reinstall and play 3 and NV soon because of these degenerate retards and their trainwreck of a mod. I almost look forward to downloading 100 mods and trying to make them not crash the game instantly. It's like some weird tradition.

People apparently discovered that America has a custom foot model that's significantly more detailed than the regular ones. It's something like 2500 faces by itself. This casts shade on their claim that her feet comments weren't fetishistic in nature.

In the vanilla game feet models are significantly more under detailed than this

Somewhat related to this hot mess of a mod since this controversy actually informed me that Mikeburnfire is apparently vaguely relevant in the Fallout fanbase that they got into the mod. They temporarily stopped running the mod through the channel then continued on.

Apparently someone got their goat enough that they made a shitty passive aggressive poll on it. The responses are pretty well encapsulated here.

Along with a few that are asking why the hell they're intent on dying on this particular hill. Further asshurt is inevitably pending.

Ok quick update on the feet thing:
One of my friends is more into the modding community for Bethesda games than I, and what's he's telling me is that America's model seems to be a Skyrim mod mesh. A group of waifu modders wanted to share their e-gf's and figured out how to make a framework in which characters can be exported with all their dependencies. The point is, from what he's telling me, it's not so much the feet, and more of an egregious "I WANT MY WAIFU IN THE GAME PLZ THANK YOU". Whether the feet thing or the waifu nonsense is more embarrassing is up to you.

The only difference is, Fallout: Frontier marketed itself as a serious story mod, whereas those waifu mods were made for the sake of cheesecake and nothing else.

Few weeks ago I watched an entire developer walkthrough of one of the questlines inside the mod that was or is supposed to be in the mod. (not sure if it got added in the end as it's said that the questline author left the dev team early on).

The whole thing seems pretty solid, lots of work were put to the voice acting, branching arcs and the variables depending if the player interacted or not with certain NPCs. It's a shame something of this quality being dragged down by one pedo furry shitter that couldn't keep his fetishes in line.

It wasn't one guy - the furry pedo only made icons. The rot goes deeper in the mod.

I suggest turning down your graphics options if you're not running a relatively high-end machine. Frontier is very CPU intensive.

Yeah, it was a surprise to me, too. I'm running a 37MHz single-threaded quad core, and turning the texture sizes to low (this breaks the pip-boy icons and some loading screens on the pre-Zu version) and the sliders down to half solved 99% of my performance problems.

The world map is shit, but I wouldn't say "broken" in my experience, so if you're running a mod that messes with the map, that may be it. Here's a mod that makes the map better.

The Frontier devs picked on the guy because he was big enough to be a threat, but not big enough to have a massive fanbase like Mitten-Squad where they would never mess with the latter due to his large fanbase.
