Hell Yeah! I drew a Metal version of Chris, I improved his room with some Metal posters, and replaced his dumb toys, with some Metal toys! and I gave him a beer. And Heavy Metal is on his Tv.

drew up a sonichooooo thing to try out my new markers I got on clearance from Michael's (Chromatix - caught 'em all for $26!!!) (and I used a few other markers)
So the other day, I decided it was about time I started sharpening up my cartooning-skills. I haven't really been drawing much since I left school, and I've grown a bit rusty.
And what better subject to practice my talents on, than say, the most original and complicated character I know?
Well, that charcater is too hard to draw, so I decided to draw Sonichu instead.
So here is my re-design of the original electric hedgehog pokemon here:
I've tried to design it so that it's instantly recognisable as Sonichu, but with a bit more life and personality. I gave him a pair of baggy denim jeans, for the true 90s vidya mascot flavor. And for modestly. He also has a pokeball belt-buckle (Green to match his eyes).
You may be wondering where the red-dot cheeks are. That's 'cos I removed them. The design worked well enough with just the yellow & blue w/ green colour scheme. The red just felt out of place.
But in case you refuse to accept any design without the cheeks as the TRUE and HONEST Sonichu, then I made this version. Enjoy:

I'm thinking of redesigning more Sonichu characters, to give them all their own distinct flavor, other than their colour.
