The frame caption is randomly chosen at run-time when the background image changes, so the juxtaposition is just a happy coincidence.

What started as a feeble adventure game idea ended up as an exercise in beating my head on the new Direct2D API while hating Microsoft and life, but it left a few chunks of art-schrapnel embedded in the walls. A couple more are probably worth uploading if I felt like it, which I don't.

A few years ago, I wanted to do some CWC related artwork that would mimic the style of real rubber hose-y Sonic art.
This is my take on our favorite Mary Lee Walsh, in possibly her most recognized, beloved and voluptuous form as reimagined by....I guess the artist known as SpazKid, who made Sonichu The Animated Series....or at least animated them. Did he design the characters for it, too? I'm thinking so, but I don't want to be disrespectful, just in case it might have been someone else. :) I love those things!!

Hot 'She-Devil' Mary Lee Walsh with a blonde bob is something that predates S:tAS by quite some time.

I want to say it was as early as Sonichu threads on /v/ in 2007 that drawings of her like that started. it all came from a misinterpretation of her appearance based on Chris' shitty art (he'd just draw the gold helmet with red horns, and no hair) and 4chan's (and the whole internets, fior that matter) tendency to make a sexy-chan out of anything.

Most fan art I've seen of them is as kids, as that's when they're at their most horrifying/disgusting/etc. Other than when Chris drew them as adult tomgirls/tomboys for his tomgirl-themed "album", yours is the first I've seen of future Robbie/Robee, Christine, and Cera (sp?).

*EDIT* Sony did end up releasing the claim on the video after a couple of days. Considering that it was a long weekend, that means it got released almost immediately. Glad to see that someone actually pays attention to fair use disputes, but almost immediately after AMC instated one. You'd think they would have done it immediately upon uploading, but apparently not. So, now I'm waiting on this fair use dispute and if that fails then it'll be blocked everywhere except the U.S.

Now I know why the Hank and Marie reaction video never took off as a meme like the Hitler reacts to videos: Sony and AMC nipped that one in the bud really quickly. Never doing this ever again.

Ah, I misspoke. I meant, rather, for the other supposed "pairings", i.e. Blake/Bubbles, Magi-chan/Silvana, etc. Though it's interesting to think that I'm one of the few to bother with the evolved forms of the second generation of 'chus that OPL shat out.

How cute! :heart-full: That was Christine, right? I had to look her up on the Cwcki to be sure. The shade of her hair makes her look like Bionic's spawn.

There was some Blake x Bubbles fanart on an early page of this thread.

Aha, yes that's her. And you're right, it kind of does. I always thought that "shiny" thing was fishy.

Oh wow that's actually really cute. And it makes my inner sperg want to make more.
 
Only just gotten round to catching up on all of this stuff, and I'm just marvelling at how many awesomely talented people there are lurking around these boards. I'm actually quite gutted I've reached the end of the thread.
Can't wait to see more from you lovely people!
