Not sure if anyone else has had an idea like this, but here goes.
Earlier today, I was reading some CWCki articles while listening to an interview with Frank Miller. For those who don't know, Frank Miller is a famous comic writer/artist know for such works as Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, 300, and influencing characters like Daredevil and Wolverine. Anyways, I'm a big fan of him and I began to wonder: What if Frank Miller made a Sonichu Comic?

This would be modeled after another famous Batman title by Miller, Batman: Year One. Year One was about Batman's first year fighting crime in Gotham, focusing on fighting police corruption and the Falcone family, and his eventual friendship with Commissioner James Gordon.

It would be a reimagining of Sonichu's origin, his first year fighting Jerkops in CWCville, and his eventual friendship with Christian.

I am currently working on a rough draft of the script and am open to any ideas for what you would like to see.

Pointing out that Batman: Year One had a slightly bigger focus on Gordon than it did on Bats, so if your concept here is 1:1 then it might end up having a slightly bigger focus on Chris than it does his rat. Which his how OG Sonichu went anyway but you get what I'm saying.

Is it going to be written like Frank Miller's stuff, where most of the text is the characters' inner thoughts?

Like Year One, it would switch back and forth from Sonichu and Chris. In this story, CWCville wouldn't be too on board with a yellow rat running around beating up cops the same way Gotham wasn't ok with a giant "bat" gliding around beating up cops. Chris would hate Sonichu at first, but like Gordon, begin to form a bond.

And to your second question, Of course. This is Frank Miller's Sonichu.

I'm not really angry. Like I said, I should've seen it coming. At the end of the day, the concept of "SONICHU BUT EDGY" has probably been done to death. It is disappointing to see something I'm interested in doing get trashed, but that just tells me that I should work on making it more interesting.
 
There are few ideas for art or writing that I would dismiss out of hand. My response is almost always "try it and see how it goes." Much wild and wacky entertainment is created here regularly because people decided to run with some random ideas. So give it a shot, man.
