This is a thread for Kiwis who choose to change their email to nonsense, change their password to gobbledegook, and irreversibly log off forever, to post their final goodbye messages and explain their rationale for why they're leaving.
I'll go first. In my case, this website being a forum doesn't stop it from being just as much of a skinner box to me as an infiniscrolling site. It's just way too addicting to engage on the vapid gossip and banter on here, and especially to try and bait the zillenials with high-energy behavior. But it's just cheap short-lasting glee, there's no benefit whatsoever to using this website, it's just distraction from the really important things in life, last night and today I didn't sleep or eat or do my laundry or go to church because I was too busy using Kiwifarms. The only tangibly good thing this website has ever given me in my life is the cherished memory of reading @StembleyTheRaccoon's posts together with my now deceased online best friend Jokafilozof. The rest 99% of it is just perverse mirth, or downright brain-shut-off dopamine IV drip zombie stimulus. That's why after I go I'm going to try as hard as possible to not just replace it with some other goyslop internet website, I'll try go outside, spend time sleeping in my bed instead of going to bed at 6 am every night, eat more than 1.5 meals a day, maybe even enter 'gymnasium' for first time in my life, etc..
