  • CDC Director Dr Anthony Fauci said that the idea of removing masks off during air travel 'is really not something we should even be considering'
  • Fauci also mentioned the possibility of a vaccine mandate for domestic and international air travel to increase the percentage of vaccinated Americans
  • On Dec. 15, Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly said in front of a U.S. Senate panel that masks 'don't add much, if anything' to protect passengers from COVID-19
  • As of Dec. 21, 62,211,823 Americans had received a booster, or 30.4 percent of the country's fully vaccinated population, according to data from the CDC
  • Fauci added that mandatory facial-wearing on airplanes might be here to stay forever
Dr Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious diseases expert, told Americans on Sunday that removing masks on airplanes is 'not something we should even be considering,' as hundreds of flights in the U.S. continue to be canceled due to the spread of the Omicron variant across the country.

Appearing on ABC's This Week, Fauci made the comment while answering Jonathan Karl's question on the possibility of introducing a vaccine mandate for domestic air travel.

'We want to make sure people keep their masks on. I think the idea of taking masks off, in my mind, is really not something we should even be considering,' Fauci said.

Earlier this month, Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly said in front of a U.S. Senate panel hearing that masks 'don't add much, if anything' to protect airline passengers from spreading COVID.

'And of course, the airline CEOs were suggesting that — you know, that we may not — may no longer need a mask. I hear you loud and clearly, you disagree with that on an — on the airplane,'

Fauci disagreed with the airline executive's view and then mentioned the possibility of introducing a vaccine mandate for domestic and international air travel to increase the percentage of vaccine rollout across the U.S.

'A vaccine requirement for a person getting on the plane is just another level of getting people to have a mechanism that would spur them to get vaccinated; namely, you can't get on a plane unless you're vaccinated, which is just another one of the ways of getting requirements, whatever that might be,' Fauci said.

'So I mean, anything that could get people more vaccinated would be welcome. But with regard to the spread of virus in the country, I mean, I think if you look at wearing a mask and the filtration on planes, things are reasonably safe,' he continued.

Overall, 204,740,321 Americans or 62 percent of the population have received both COVID-vaccine doses.

As of Dec. 21, 62,211,823 Americans had received a booster, or 30.4 percent of the country's fully vaccinated population, according to the CDC's data.

When this guy kicks it they're going to have to bury him in an random grave with no headstone like Ted Bundy or else people will never stop pissing and shitting on it.
His grave might be the only one that ends up saturated with more piss than Margaret Thatcher's or Karl Marx's graves.

That is the funny thing, I am sure he does understand, he just does not care. The more time that progresses the more evident that any restrictions are in service of strongarming individuals in to making choices they prefer not to make.

The question at this point becomes why it is so important that as many as possible are pressured to make this decision if it is not for health purposes.
Judging by what @Drain Todger has posted I'd say these vaxxes are some kind of neuroweapon.

Because air travel is totally beholden to you especially after the shit you pulled.
How're the beagles by the way, Fauci?

Then there won't be any airlines.
Simple as.
They want an ultimatum with a clear choice, you choose the opposite and watch everything burn for their ineptitude.
They will be more than happy to burn it down, because Gulfstream jets aren't going on the pyre. The elites don't have lockdowns and mask mandates; those are for us. They're going to destroy our stuff, not their stuff. The slogan is, "You'll own nothing, and you'll be happy," not, "We'll own nothing, and we'll be happy."

Because killing off airline CEOs won't be killing off "the elites"
Because killing off one of THE biggest source of income for aeronautics or whatever it's called isn't going to burn their shit too. I mean have fun getting airplane fuel when there's literally no industry for it anymore, just as an example.
Also the slogan has nothing to do with any of this, we never owned airplanes in the first place. If they want to damage the tourism industry so badly, let them.

You know what's happening to Doug Parker, CEO of American Airlines, after he resigns this year? He's not facing a firing squad or jail time. He's taking the over $100m dollars he looted from the company he drove into a ditch and laughing all the way home.

Because killing off one of THE biggest source of income for aeronautics or whatever it's called isn't going to burn their shit too. I mean have fun getting airplane fuel when there's literally no industry for it anymore, just as an example.

The military uses 12 million barrels of jet fuel per day, and since the military is one of our elites' favorite toys, there will continue to be kerosene. You just won't be using it.

Also the slogan has nothing to do with any of this, we never owned airplanes in the first place. If they want to damage the tourism industry so badly, let them.

Once again, that just means tourism for slobs like you and me. Martha's Vineyard will still be open for business. Leonardo Dicaprio will still be taking a private jet to whatever destination he wants. If the tourism industry collapses, the CEO of Disney won't even see a bump in his standard of living. The many Orlando residents who live paycheck to paycheck won't be so fortunate.

I think you should take a look at China to see how this all looks. Do the elites have it pretty bad there? Per capita income is around $10K/yr there, and about 75% of the country is dirt poor. It doesn't take a lot of national wealth to have the top 0.01% of people living like kings.

Yeah, this is a good idea. Ban the useless cowards from travel, keep pushing them further and further into the slums where they deserve to be. This is starting to get really, REALLY entertaining. Get Cloud Districted you fucking pussies lmao

I’ve flown 10 times in 2021, 2 of those were international flights. Earlier in the year, at least in my experiences, flight attendants seemed to urge individuals to wear a mask, but didn’t enforce it. I’ve never seen a flight attendant try to enforce their usage and I think this is widely sensationalized. Yeah, there are some people who definitely live for the drama, but most of these people just want to get their hours in and go home. Also, thankfully, the maskfag passengers seem to mostly keep to themselves. On a recent flight to Nevada, I was seated next to an overweight woman who asked why I didn’t have a mask on. My response to her was that I accept the risk. After that, she dozed off and kept to herself for the rest of the flight.

Fauci can say whatever he wants, but he’s not the guy going to be tasked with policing this shit. The FAs aren’t paid well enough to act as his enforcers and are already fatigued by the growing tensions simply by flying in the first place. Fauci et al are relying on their cult of COVID to try to enforce these policies.

From the one time I had to travel by plane to go to my sister’s wedding in 2020, one loophole I noticed in the mask mandates was bringing enough snacks with you and eating the entire time of the flight. They allow you to take off your mask if you are eating/drinking.
You should change your pfp back to Amberlynn for making such a post.

You're in an enclosed space for several hours in the air. The masks don't stop you from breathing, so you still breathe out air. For several hours. On the off chance there are people with COVID on that plane, that airspace is getting saturated with COVID and unless you're actually wearing a mask worth a damn (and most aren't even wearing them correctly, much less wearing N/P/R 95/97/100s), just being in an airplane is a ready risk if you're so worried about spread.
I was gonna post this. I'm so sick of this half assed shit since day one, and it is why I will never take covid seriously. These fucking niggers who bitch about masks on planes, but they're traveling around the world during a """PANDEMIC""". Every fucking measure they want us to take is half assed, BUT COVID IS TOTALLY SERIOUS YOU GUYS.

If you think covid is a serious problem and you travel AT ALL, vaxxed/masked or not, unironically kill yourself. If you think covid is serious and you go to grocery stores/restaurants AT ALL, kill yourself. Kill yourself for being a fucking faggot who expects everyone else to get jabbed because you're too much a fucking faggot to make even marginal sacrifices for what you claim is a "pandemic". Fuck you, do humanity a favor and drop dead.

I'm still 100% completely unvaccinated.
Same. I'm not giving in to social pressure from anyone - even if I get called a retard or a horrible bigot for my choice - and neither should anyone else.

The one person I go to for medical advice has years of medical expertise, has done extensive research over the last year regarding COVID, and has concluded the vaccines are unreliable. For your logic to have relevance, you must have credibility. To me, Fauci has zero credibility, which is why I will never listen to him.

From the one time I had to travel by plane to go to my sister’s wedding in 2020, one loophole I noticed in the mask mandates was bringing enough snacks with you and eating the entire time of the flight. They allow you to take off your mask if you are eating/drinking.
You could also take small, slow bites of your snack. If they ask you why you're doing that, you could say, "Mama always said to chew your food carefully." The best loophole.
