I started with IE (didn't like Netscape 4 much). Switched to Netscape 6-7 after too many popup ads in IE.

The favorite browser then became Mozilla, which was just like Netscape 6-7, but less "corporate feeling".

Then Firefox came out, it became preferred browser, and it has remained the preferred browser since then.

Used Internet Explorer, because it came pre-installed with Windows. Never bothered with Netscape or anything.
After a while, I switched to Firefox and used that for a little while after hearing that it was way better than IE.
I used Firefox for a few years, until I became a very early adopter of Google Chrome. Back when it still had the 3D logo.

Nowadays, I mainly use Google Chrome and sometimes Firefox.

IE - Sometime in the early to mid 2000's
Chrome - Around 2009-ish
Firefox - 2010's
Pale Moon - 2015 (My old Core 2 Duo laptop was starting to show its age and I heard it was good with shit computers)
Brave - Current

Opera Presto from my first days on the web to the day it became a lousy Chrome clone.

Then I drifted between Chrome and Firefox trying to find a replacement before discovering Vivaldi which I've been using ever since.

Started with Internet Explorer because it was preinstalled, didn't care that much, and it was the late 90s/early 2000s when there weren't as many options. I briefly used Firefox in the mid-2000s, but switching to Linux, ended up using Konqueror (usable back then, now it crashes unless I use the Chrome web engine). I started using Firefox at some point in the 2010s. I used it until some news extensions started disappearing from the add-on store, so I moved to Brave in 2017 and have used it since.

I didn't have a computer with the internet of my own until well into the days of Firefox supremacy. I used that until it started shitty the bed so hard I switched to Chrome, and then recently Brave (which seems to be just Chrome).

If you didn't have all the browsers installed at once what were you even trying to accomplish on the internet?

Pretty sure it was IE on Mac OS as thats what the school had. Then Netscape on some of the older machines in shop class.
Then Firefox at home for a long time. Then alternated between Chromium and Firefox for a bit before being a fairly early adopter of Brave. Havn't switched since, but keep my eyes on new engine projects like Ladybird.
