Favorite fight scenes?

You know what's a good one? The final fight between Spider-Man and Green Goblin in the first Spider-Man film.

Okay, Goblin killing himself with his own glider was silly, but in today's overabundance of CGI, going back and watching a scene of the hero and villain just beating the snot out of each other in a climactic battle and being able to feel every hit was actually refreshing.

It was the exact opposite of the poorly rendered CGI fight between Black Panther and Killmongor in Black Panther's climax.
Real talk, to this day it's my favorite final fight in all superhero movies. And a lot of it was because the movie built to this final confrontation; Spidey and Goblin squared off frequently for much of the latter half of the movie, but the stakes feel so much higher after everything Goblin has put Spider-Man through. The setting is absolutely perfect too; they fight in an abandoned warehouse where no one will get in their way.

The fight feels so much more personal than pretty much every other superhero movie out there. There's no shaky cam, not a lot of flashy effects, just two men beating the shit out of each other. It's honestly a big reason I was so disappointed with Homecoming's climax, because it lacked those personal stakes and because I never felt Spidey actually fought Vulture, just pestered him until he went down.

Not to mention the movie pays off the father theme with Spider-Man finally accepting Uncle Ben as his father over Norman.

I could seriously sperg about how amazing that movie's climax was all day long.

I agree with so many of the scenes people have posted, so I'll post the ones that haven't been mentioned:

These are my absolute, number one favorite fight scenes in any comic book adaptation:

And, naturally, because I mentioned Daredevil, it would be blasphemy if I didn't mention the iconic hallway fight scene from the cinematic masterpiece that is Oldboy:

And, finally, I simply adore the Bride vs. Crazy 88 fight from Kill Bill ... But only if it's the version that was released in Japan. This version is not only 100% in color, but it's a longer scene as well. It is infinitely more awesome and more hilarious this way, and I'm pissed that we still haven't gotten a proper Blu-Ray release of this cut:

I'll go the classic route and say Luke vs Vader in ROTJ, mostly carried by the amazing score but i really like the simple fight choreography, it's just Luke whaling away on Vader once he gives in. The Daredevil / Oldboy one take fight scenes are also up there and in the same way they are very visceral and less flashy.

The movie Magic Crystal has some insane fight choreography.
Tony Leung Siu-Hung is one of the best fight choreographers of all time and he had a ton of talent to work with here, including 2 of my favorites - Cynthia Rothrock and Richard Norton.
Having watched stuff like this as a kid, I'm never all that impressed by fights in Hollywood movies, they're just so much inferior.

I will never get tired of this scene.

Putting aside the whole "Affleck not Batman ;(" shit I keep seeing, this is my favourite super hero fight sequence in any media; the gadgets are believable, the action is clear, and the violence is far more grounded than any CGI fest from other movies. The thugs aren't just taken down in one floaty punch - that one fucking Asian guy keeps getting up again - Batman is not inherently flawless, and his victory feels earned rather than given.

I really enjoyed BVS, but even if I hadn't this would have sealed Batfleck as my choice.
