Favorite Youtubers?

BikdipOnABus is someone I've been following since like 2008 because his videos are just so damn great. He does Let's Plays, takes no bullshit, and snarks at any- and everything under the sun, resulting in a commentary drier than California that is extremely amusing. He is the greatest and needs more than the paltry average of ~5,000 views per video he gets now :(

I've torn my way through Thunderf00t's catalogue ever since I found his video on The Sarkeesian Effect.

I don't agree with him on everything and he does have a tendency to really hammer simple points repeatedly to ensure even the dumbest viewers can follow what he's going on about, but he's one of the rare breed out there who knows both the McIntoshes and the Aurinis of the world are fucking retarded, and can explain in precise and unambiguous detail every single way in which they're retarded. His videos on creationists and pseudoscience that somehow manages to become popular and profitable like the SOLAR FREAKING ROADWAYS and Powdered Alcohol are also excellent. I never even knew who VenomfangX or Kent Hovind were until I started this binge. Not to mention watching his videos really puts into perspective how intellectually lightweight a lot of the pop "science" and "educational" content on the Web actually are.

I only wish he'd do more videos on pseudoscience, but bullshit from creationists and third wave feminists and the anti-GG crowd just clog things up like a bowel obstruction.

I wouldn't mind him doing more creationist bullshit, really, but that's mostly because he's really homing in on the feminism and GG stuff recently.

But if we're talking pseudoscience debunking, I'd recommend Martymer 81 and CoolHardLogic.

Some of my favorite YouTubers:

Retsupurae- Although they've been focusing less on LPs, they still make some awesome videos.

JustKeepThisInMind (AKA The Midwestern Madman)- Makes rants that are funny in a fucked up way.

He11sing920- In addition to his Reaction & Reviews, he's done a great job tearing SJWs a new one in his YT streams.

A fan of Mega64 and Remi Gaillard. I do like Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin' provided that Anthony didn't shove his SJW politics in his sketches.

I like SethBling's Minecraft videos because he's pretty creative and to my surprise, not an annoying fuckwit.

I'll plug a few lesser known youtubers:

EventStatus - Does sports news and gaming news vids, as well as playthroughs of games (Usually for charity streams) and has competed in fighting game tournaments. I mainly watch his gaming news vids, though.

TheRetroReplay - Informative and funny. Also has the best ever review for Bubsy 3D since he goes into incredible detail as to how much it sucks (And yes, he played through it. Twice, in fact).

ProJared - This guy is funny. I like his reviews, though I do miss his one-minute reviews. Those were the best.

The Worst Movie Adaptation thread reminded me that I also enjoy Cinema Sins.

JogWheel for their "Is It a Good Idea to Microwave This?" series. Pretty self-explanatory, a group of three idiots put random stuff into microwaves to see what happens. It ended years ago but they're still fun to watch if you're in the mood for old school YouTube vids.

there was this one channel I liked as a guilty pleasure called englandsbrow

imagine megaman on drugs

Bestfriendsplay is always up there as I don't intend to do things like actually PLAY games like Silent Hill LetDownpour and the David Cage Trilogy, and they play off each other so well. Not so much a fan of them playing like. gameplay games though. Needs to be either interactive stories or just horseshit games.

Also have been watching the TGS people (TotalBiscuit and friends) doing yet another Blood Bowl tournament.

And finally, the channel The Great War is frankly amazing. It's a weekly history show where they go over what happened in ww1 exactly 100 years ago week by week. Plus a second vid each week, either a question and answer show or a profile on a person of interest. Since we're like a year in you can easily marathon it.

Here's the playlist of all them in order.

Definitely Red Letter Media for me. I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched their stuff. The fact that they don't have millions of subscribers is a crime.

I'm also fond of top 10-15 channels and channels that catalogue spooky stuff.
