Favorite Youtubers?

ColinLooksBack, comfy viewing about production of Disney movies, villains, and very weird old media no one should care about.

CecilMcFly, objectively best channel on internet drama trashfires. (I like Ghost Gum too I'm not a simp shut up)

In Praise of Shadows, gets political very occasionally but is outstanding at presentation and talking about obscure and interesting horror topics. And talks about actual classic horror, isn't a dime a dozen shitty creepypasta or summary channel. I really hope he does a retrospective on Texas Chainsaw or Berserk someday.

Limit Breakers I am Souls Boy at heart, always get a big dumb smile whenever this guy uploads.

MattyBurritoMB. been watching for a long time. I love his graphic design, I love his jokes, I love his art style (sometimes). His vids are anywhere from 1 to 3 minutes long but they usually double the length with all the references and jokes in the background that make repeat viewing fun. I think this guy might've cracked how animation channels can fit into Youtube's shitty watch time system. I hope he hits it big again someday.

Also any channel that archives Mister Metokur or MATI streams. Good boys, all of em.

Wand of Sparking – a channel ran by two brothers(?), mainly focused on weird Terraria & Stardew Valley challenges.

The Librarian – horror nerd that does creepypasta readings, videos of him walking around GMod maps in VR, and playthroughs of various little horror games. He's a liminal space-liking zoomer, but I enjoy him for his very articulate way of speaking and (usually) interesting content.

Max0r – SsethTzeentach's ADHD cousin. Videos are guaranteed to give you a seizure, but at least they're funny for the most part.

Charlatan Wonder - cool game reviewer, has a taste for immersive sims.

Probably a dead giveaway from my avatar, but MeatCanyon. He has good tastes in classic horror and he's an absolute sweetheart, despite some of the hideous shit he draws. One of the few artists whose drawing videos I actually enjoy on account of the wild shit he says and his humble nature. Hearing his breakdown of his old cartoons and what the theme he was trying to convey really gives you some insight as to how clever he can be.

Plus, he gave us this gem.

It all started over him reacting to Nicokado's reaction video of his cartoon. He made a comment near the end that could be summarized as "hey Nick, I'm a fat fuck too, let's do a mukbang". This was the original video.

I know Nicokado is a fat repulsive piece of shit, but you can see bits of his humanity cracking through in this video. You can see he's genuinely enjoying spending time around other people despite his catty performance. This video is one of the few times I felt anything resembling sympathy for him. Seeing him in genuine bouts of laughter and showing some occasional courtesy reminds me that there's a person in there somewhere, he just hides it well.
