I know Rocky got him a job once. Something through a jobs-for-'tismals program. I don't remember what it was, just a basic job. Chris refused to go for it.

Chris literally thinks that he's royalty, why should he have to work for money when he deserves everything that he wants handed to him on a silver platter? After all, the tugboat gives him over a thousand in cash every month because he's special. (or so Chris thinks)

Thinking about it, that might be why he so eagerly engaged with the trolls, finally there was a visible part of the grand "Kick the Autistic" conspiracy, complete with the explicit motive of fucking with Chris for shits and giggles

Frankly, his life is already a paranoid nightmare where he can't trust anyone, yet continues to do so. It's a bit shocking.

I thought it was just common practice if a fucktard does something crazy in a place of business the judge orders said fucktard not to set foot on said premises until the case is resolved.

There are different ways of doing that, though. Some are formal, like a restraining order. Violating a restraining order actually counts as an indirect contempt of court and can be separately prosecuted. A stay-away can also be written into terms of bail.

However, a judge can simply say to the defendant "I don't want to hear you've been back to that place," and while informal, you're going to have to deal with a mad judge should you violate that. Considering that good behavior is basically always a condition of any bail, anything that counts as bad behavior can result in revoking the bail. It doesn't have to violate a court order directly or even break an actual law.

So long as the decision is reasonable, a court can revoke or increase bail, add conditions to continue bail, and in general has broad leeway to respond to bad behavior from people out on bail.

I remember the conventional wisdom used to be that Chris wouldn't settle for anything less than an absolute dream job - being a comic book artist or video game designer. But I remember he did apply for big box retail positions, which he promptly blamed on trolls and Google when things didn't pan out. I don't think he's holding out for the ridiculous anymore, but no one puts our autistic baby in a corner, or in a workshop with other windows to hell - he wants to waddle around Target all day, play the demo video games and yell at shoppers who disturb him.

I think he applied at those places because of outside pressure- trolls, weens, sweethearts- and would probably never work at a retail environment for very long, if at all.
