Yeah. We know that, but Chris might be oblivious to the fact. I doubt he'd ever try a grand scheme where he uses his sales to gather dox and then dox 'trolls' on his own simply cause I don't think Chris would have such an idea, but still, if poked in the right direction, I could totally see him do a hare-brained scheme like doxing his customers.

The difficulty is that Chris doesn't know the difference between a troll, a person with a legitimate grievance and a white knight telling him something he doesn't like, so he'd probably wind up pissing a lot of people off for no reason.

This may have changed in recent years, and I hope it has not just for Chris' sake, but everyone else who uses eBay as well. It's for this reason alone why my PayPal account is linked to a checking account that I only keep a couple hundred bucks in.

I think paypal/ebay are largely the same but the Fed made it illegal to charge overdraft fees unless you opt in. I guess that would prevent them from sucking you into a negative balance.

I suppose Chris can be poked in a lot of directions, so nothing is impossible, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. Chris asks a lot of "friends" and "well-wishers" to buy his stuff, and I am sure a few of them do. So how would he possibly distinguish between them?

I would assume that any person steering him would be aware of this, so their only motivation would be to stir up a massive hornets' nest. A hornets' nest they would probably be way too close to.

From Chris' point of view, he is probably happy to take money from "trolls". He could spin it as a victory for him. He believes he can keep doing it. He also seems to have learned from the last doxing incident that doxing is a bad idea.

The distinction doesn't matter to him. He'll take shots at anybody he can when he's mad. That's why he has no relationships outside of Barb.
