Sonichu FB 10/20 - Chris Uploads Revised Sonichu 1

I would love to know what the thinking is behind only changing this one character. I have a vague theory. Chris has said that he wants to use Metal Sonichu in a future issue. Presumably he needs Metal's creator, Dr Robotnik. But for whatever reason, he's afraid of being caught violating copyright. He knows no one's come after him so far. So maybe through some autistic/lazy thought process, he's decided that it was okay before but from now on he could get into trouble. So he invents Ron Shitstain to take the place of Robotnik so he can draw his new hedgehog comics without fear.

Or I could be completely wrong, and it's some insane Chris thought process that we are unable to comprehend.
 
What I want to know is. If Robotnik is suddenly not ok to have in the comic, why is Sonic still ok? It's the same series right? And don't go changing any of those Nintendo characters.
 
I hear they're going to run the new Sonichu trailer during Monday Night Kick The Autistic.

Unless they're as slow in the mind as Chris is, I doubt we'll see him get maced over it

Why start worrying about it now? It's etay, a site built on selling Dr. Who sex toys. No one on that site has ever worried about copyright. Ever.

My theory is that Chris does have a slight shame in nearly everything in the comic being plagiarized and now wants to make it half-assedly original so at least it will seem like he tried. This might be one of the major ret-cons and one he speaks of publicly, but I imagine the fresh ret-con issue 1 will be riddled with minor, and bizarre, changes.

I'd rather he went back and redid Issue 0 and just say sonichus have always been around since the dawn of time and drop the whole chaos rainbow bullshit, but that's just me.
 
I wonder if Chris will ever give up Sonichu? Is he going to be a 65 year old man still drawing Sonichu long after people have largely forgotten about Sonic and Pikachu?

As sad as it is, Sonichu is his crowning achievement. While the rest of the world only sees a half hearted attempt at a recolor, Chris sees the next Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny. He rubbed two sticks together, created a fire and thinks he alone paved the way of the future of mankind... In the year 2000.

Most likely pretty much this. It could be that the company he uses to publish his comic asked him to if he actually plans on continuing the series. They do normaly not care of previous coppyright theft but will typicaly not publish new material with it in.

If he lives to 65, then I expect he will still be talking about sonichu.
