Facebook FB 11/30/2013 The Damn Rumor is False

1- Well I told all my friends and family that the Chandlers were at a soup kitchen so it's totally a real rumor.
2- Maybe its my love of shitting on Chris but I love his total indignation of the less fortunate. But please buy him stuff.

I have to admit that I'm surprised that Chris and his mother didn't go to one of the various T-day dinners that some of the various churches tend to hold. Not all of them do it and it's not always a soup kitchen sort of deal. A lot of churches recognize that their members might not have a lot of (or any) family around, plus they might not be able or willing to cook a meal for whatever reason. Some of the dinners can get somewhat pricey, but a lot of the churches operate on the idea that if a family really is too poor to pay, they'll let them in for free or nearly free.

This is another example of how unpredictable Chris is when it comes to which trolling efforts will push his buttons. Neither Ivy nor Solid Chris set out to start major sagas. There's no logical reason why he would choose Mimms' blurry photo as the ground zero of trolling. In this case, Chris decides to overlook all the shit flung at him on the CWCki forums and targets some obscure shadowy ween. For all his autistic habits and routines, it's always hard to guess what he will do next.
Uhh... no, that's not really the case. Chris doesn't go into the logical specifics about how he became such an internet sensation, he just thinks of himself as a celebrity. And his thinking of the Mimms picture is: before the picture was taken, he had a normal life and after the picture was taken, he was a huge celebrity.

Now, of course, normal people recognize that the actual situation was that he was indeed sort of popular before the Mimms picture and the only reason there was a market for a picture of Chris was because he was sorta popular. Mimms would have no reason to take such a picture without the motivation of there being a bunch of people interested in Chris and wanting to see a picture of him. They wanted to know that he's real, y'know, like he's bigfoot.

Chris' view of the Mimms picture isn't correct, but it does make sense from his point of view.

But a lot of this is understanding in hindsight-- tracing his logic backwards after he's done whatever he's done. Unless you can somehow think like Chris, it's hard to predict what he's going to do next.

To imagine there was a time before people even knew what Chris looked like.

Even Chris didn't know what Chris looked like. He had to study himself in a mirror.

Eh, Chris' thinking is pretty consistent nowadays and predicting what he's going to do is fairly straightforward.

How do we know no one ever said anything about this, and in actuality hes just yelling at us for something we could have said, just for more attention from his high school chums. Pity is his favorite form of attention, after all.

Well, when you look at things on a larger scale, it starts to break down. Who could have predicted tomgirl, for instance?

Predicted? Nobody. But if you look back on his history you can make connections that go "Yeah. That makes a sense." The links may be tenuous at best but I think you can at least see the seeds to things like Tomgirl.

Also, as far as I can remember, Tomgirl is one of few, if not the only, bit of Christory that's unpredictable.

I think tomgirl is an exception to the rule. Otherwise, all Chris is going to do is his usual whining on facebook and his typical spiteful jabs like the walmart vandalism. I mean, if tomorrow, Chris woke up and has some new philosophy on life, then yeah, you'll be right, but until then, Chris'll just be Chris.

My guess is that they're too proud for that, since only poor and homeless people go to that and the Chandlers are certainly not any of those. Or maybe they just don't get out enough to know that any churches hold that kind of thing.

I think it's more that it's easy to predict how Chris will respond to situations, but difficult to predict what some of those situations themselves might be. The things we don't understand that seem to come out of the blue are only because we don't yet know what his motivations were for doing them. Like I would not have expected Chris to vandalize a walmart store display, but the way he responded to getting caught at it and banned from the store (refusal to accept responsibility while making whiny personal army requests against the store employee who handles him) was classic Chris. The same goes for his Tomgirlism: who knows what put that idea into his head, but the way hes gone about it (unkempt half-assed crossdressing, demanding special restroom privileges) is exactly what you'd expect.

They're not too proud. They're too demanding. Going to a soup kitchen takes effort (and GAS IS EXPENSIVE!), and they would really prefer to have free meals come to them. Chris and Barb are more the sort to abuse Meals on Wheels.

IMO, I think Chris' reaction in the need to dispel a rumor he thought existed makes sense for him given his personality and after all he's been though. Much info/videos/conversations/ect... he thought was privately shared got publicly shared sooner or later. Also, after being badgered year after year after year I think it only makes sense that he would respond like this to info he hears going around about him. Many people do similar things. Even if say he did go to a soup kitchen him denying it is a perfectly normal thing. It would be like, " I saw ___ kiss ___!!" and weather they did or not they would deny or confirm. Even if only a few people heard about it. Even if its bogus and stupid, it's still technically a rumor. I think Chris was trying to nip in the butt.

To him and many people being seen at a soup kitchen would be something that would be shocking and negative in view, that does not apply to everyone, but it's again a normal thing. Some people care, others don't. Some people like them, others don't. So I think it's a little silly to act like he's waaaay out there for acting like a soup kitchen is not a place he wants to be seen. If anything, I think it shows that he's got a little itty bitty fight left in him. He could have been like "whatever, I don't care *video games*"

The way Chris put it, makes it sound like he just sat in his house and starved. But I'm sure he had some stupid microwave dinners or something.
