I get really "kids these days" when I start thinking about skylanders. Is it like a ps2 style action platformer, or is it open world? Do you need to buy the toys to 100% the game or can you do everything with the few toys you get when you buy the game? Are the different characters all different or RayMan legends esque palette swaps that all play the same? So confusing

Chris cares and that's all that matters to Chris.

I want Sony to use Nintendo's characters anyway, just so Reggie Phyll-Amei (or however the fuck you spell it) can make a video, yelling "It's MY fault! I want everything ABOUT Nintendo...OFF.....THE PLAAAAASTAAATION!!!!!!!!!"

Then we can see a rough cut of the video where Miyamoto interrupts him to tell him to "shut that got-damn thang off".

The idea that Skylanders are console version exclusive now is amusingly too complex for Chris to understand
Chris has (literally) spent most of his waking hours playing videogames and he still can't understand the concept of console exclusivity.

Industrial grade :autism:.
Surely even he can remember that in the Genesis/SNES era he grew up in, hardly any games came out for both platforms (and most of them were tie-in games).
Chris wanting Activision to patch Nintendo licensed "Skylandlanders" for backwards compatibility is like wanting Nintendo to release Super Mario Bros. on the Atari 2600, after Atari went bankrupt and the NES was released. Heck, Chris believed that Nintendo bought Sega when it exited the home console business and ported Sonic Adventure 2 to the Gamecube.
An easy mistake to make, since Sega has been Nintendo's bitch since then.

No Chris; we don't want you to start making custom Skylanders of your recolours.

Don't even fucking dare touch the Crash Bandicoot ones
I was gonna just mention that Chris would probably complain if the exclusive PS4 crash bandicoot and cortex sky landers got comparability on the Xbox. It's about ethics in vidya game toys.

Chris actually believes that people who don't own Nintendo consoles care about Nintendo-trademarked characters :story:
34 years old. Doesn't understand why a company wouldn't allow a competitor to use it's mascots.
Chris is pretty dumb alright but it still baffles me that he's NEVER understood that concept. Like when he made that homemade Nintendo Power magazine his imaginary games involved Sonic on N64 or Gameboy, and he was 16, not an 8 year-old fantasizing. And then when he genuinely believed he would get a Sonichu game made he wanted those games on Sony systems not getting that even if someone somehow made an arrangement with Nintendo and Sega to use Pokemon and Sonic characters together (even if you took Sonichu himself as someone completely original totally unrelated to Sonic or Pikachu) in a game, you could only potentially publish that only on a Nintendo console and Playstation would be offlimits. It's not that hard to learn even for Chris yet it somehow has escaped his head for all these years.

For a man who does almost nothing but play video games he really doesn't know a lot about video games.
For the new Skylanders game they released a Crash Bandicoot figure with the Ps3 and 4 versions, I'm sure he'll want them to make it so the figure can play on his wii or whatever

Posted literally the same day as the US Presidential election results, which didn't go the way he wanted. Now this is classic Chris

That's because he doesn't give a fuck, he wants to play with Sonichu on Playstation so that's all that matters to him. Other people will get it done for him NOWNOWNOW

Didn't Chris like have a Wii U to have these exclusive Nintendo characters?

I can see why he's complaining about it if he just owned a PS4, but this complaint is stupid since he still has a Wii U to play these exclusive Skylanders characters.

Autism is the alpha and omega.
Chris always wants to own every possible version of a game as evidenced by all of his redundant purchases... and I presume this also includes content that doesn't exist.

Dude, Activision couldn't get Link and Samus as playable guest characters in the Gamecube version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance back in the day (because the demo they showed Nintendo was running on the PS2 build. Nintendo chimped out hard at that little detail and torpedoed the idea almost immediately), I doubt they want to raise the ire of Nintendo a second time in regards to that.

Kind of off-topic, but why did they get rid of the DLC character packs for MUA2?
