Well, interestingly enough, most of the buyers weren't cwckiforum people (or even /cow/ people). It's largely just people who heard about Chris over the years, saw the cwcki at some point, and then when news came out that Chris was selling stuff, they bought them as lulzy gifts for their other internet savvy friends.You might be right.
