He probably had one of those side by side books that has the Old English text and the translation on the other page. Also its not like Shakespeare is super difficult to grasp or anything. Not if youre talking about interpretation thats a different thing, but most public schools dont even really go that far.

There are monthly income limits, but if the income is business income rather than wage/salary, it's not that straightforward. If Chris made the equivalent of $13,000 per year after expenses, it could conceivably be a problem.
