All the sources I've seen say that SSDI doesn't have asset limits.
The argument is that Chris is getting money because he's crippled, not because he's poor.
That's income, not assets.SSDI Income Limits
The SSDI program does not put a limit on the amount of assets or unearned income you have (or income that your spouse may earn), unlike the low-income disability program, Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
However, the Social Security Administration (SSA) does put a limit on the amount of money that you can earn through work when you receive Social Security disability benefits, because if you can earn an income, you aren't considered disabled.
Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA)
Specifically, if you can engage in what the Social Security Administration (SSA) calls "substantial gainful activity" (SGA), you won't be eligible for benefits. A person who earns more than a certain monthly amount is considered to be engaging in SGA. Federal regulations use the national average wage index to set the income limit for determining the SGA each year. In 2016, the amount is $1,130 for disabled applicants and $1,820 for blind applicants. The rules differ for business owners, since their monthly income may not reflect the work effort they put into their business. For more information, see our article on Substantial Gainful Activity.
assets arent even factored into disability. That's income, not assets.
Chris also doesn't make remotely enough income, but that's a separate issue.
That's what the argument was about. I was saying that there aren't asset limits to SSDI. People were saying otherwise.assets arent even factored into disability.
still more reasonable then DobsonChris thinks anything other than kissing his ass is an outright attack on him as an artist.

Here's the quote from Family Guy:
"Remember those sweet, warm New England summers? Remember sipping lemonade underneath a shady tree? Remember when you hit that pedestrian with your car at the crosswalk and then just drove away? Pepperidge Farm remembers, but Pepperidge Farm ain't just gonna keep it to Pepperidge Farm's self free of charge. Maybe you go out and buy yourself some of these distinctive Milano cookies, maybe this whole thing disappears."
Here, any assets (not income) above $5000 means instant disqualification from disability payments. Stocks of any sort are also forbidden. The only assets not factored in are a vehicle or a house/condo/whatever.
I'd be surprised if there isn't the same type of thing in VA, given how lenient health care/welfare are in Canada compared to USA.

It's actually working. In the three days since he resumed e-begging, he's had five donations and a medallion sale. For comparison, he only had 15 sales between March and the first week of April. It's like the Attraction Sign -- only instead of trying to attract women, it's trying to attract stupid customers.
Watermelon got removed from his friend's list awhile ago. It was right when he was bragging about how he was in control of Chris. A few days later, he got unfriended.Did he block Waterhead now, or did he remove the post?
