When I was younger, I used to create my own video games/video game sequels/make-believe characters for existing games. I'd draw everything from character designs to levels out on giant sheets of paper. By and large, they were styled like SMB levels, complete with floating platforms, item boxes, and coins.

Of course, I was six at the time.

I'm struck with the impression that this is pretty much Chris is doing with all these recent Sonichu drawings. Playing make-believe.

That's the charm of Chris, IMO. 95% of the stuff he does wouldn't be odd at all coming from a child. What Chris does is normal for any kid learning how the world works. The difference is, Chris has been doing this since it was still age-appropriate, and hasn't learned anything from it. He still thinks his recolors are "original characters" and still thinks he can sell the idea to Nintendo because they're just eager to hand over money to fanboys with crayons. Chris has spent over a quarter of a century obsessed with Sanic, and doesn't really understand the concept more than he did on Day 1.

Maybe I'm beating a dead horse, but I truly find that fascinating.

Not surprised, cause this is the same guy who decided he should have one of his previous girlfriends, who he supposedly cared for deeply, die in a fire in his comic, which is also a very unpleasant way to die.

Chris simply doesn't understand that they would be painful deaths.

Also, I guess Chris never played the Mario RPGs where Bowser is a pretty cool guy to have around.

Dude chris killing people with fire and shit is always so funny in retrospect. The Alec Benson Leary calls are hilarious when they're going back and forth about killing people with fire. It's so funny when you put it in context.

Well it is nice to see him doing Art again at least. If he does end with some jail time painting lessons might be good for him. Though I suppose he'd just end up being sulk and petulant over any instruction rather than take some good out of it. Which a shame. Some patience and humility would do him so much good.
I suppose he missed those when he did not receive more coping skills and emotional skills coaching when he was denied special education to fit his Needs.

Melissa Etheridge does not seem like his taste in music, but I'm guess he just searches news sites for 'Lesbian' every day and reposts that which catches his eye on his facebook with some lipservice about it being important to his FEMALE soul.

I've always wondered if haymaking a self propeller to clear the space after being ground-pound tought was neat, but I now have it on good authority from Chris that it is. I've learnt something today.

Also it's good to see that in true CWC fashion the pictures are becoming steadily more phoned in. He literally just drew Bubbles standing there. No water, no yawning squirtle, no nothing. I'm predicting Angelica will be represented by a stickman drawn on a piece of toilet paper at this rate.

I'm not sure if this is still popular, but I remember a very popular type of fan fiction was to take one media of characters and have them replace the characters of another media. Like, the characters from Cats are now in the plot of Grease (an actual fic that existed). This was generally just the exact same dialogue with different names and appearances. I have no idea why there was so much of it.

I wrote shit like that when i was 8 or 9. Or rather, I just recorded myself reading it on my cassette tape player.

So I'm estimating there's less than a 33% chance Chris understands that the RNR HOF's 'thing' is hilariously being way behind on having deserving acts inducted into their organization. Z95 definitely has "Come to my Window" somewhere on their playlist rotation judging from their music news updates on their website, but it being a 1993 release means it's a little out of the 96-2000 MHS years sweet spot for his pop culture frame of reference but he might be able to name that tune in seven or less bars on a good day if he was put on the spot. She's not even in the top ten of most glaring omissions still left potentially, got to get Johnny Marr and that lead singer he carried back in the day in the Smiths in first IMHO.

As for the green and baby blue shitty recolors; LMFAO, yeah, whatever. Good luck at court today public nuisance.

I know, I mean 'today' as in, when the earth rotates around it's axis for another 24 hours, he'll be wrapped up with his next court date, but thanks for pointing out out that 5/6 =/= 5/7 on the calender, I spent all day up Monday morning and have been trying to find that 'missing' day for me for most of this week. It must have been sucked down a vortex to a dungeon in Hyrule, maybe I should go rescue it?

i hate to derail the take about SSB but i want to go back to the melissa etheridge thing and say the rock and roll hall of fame is just hitting 70s artiest i dont think she is getting in any time soon.
