I'm sure he thinks he's some kind of sage imparting little bits of wisdom with his 'random thoughts'. I think he's heard the word 'non-conforming' in his gender adventures and it now has a positive connotation to him.
I predict he will begin to call many things he's interested in "non conforming" soon.

As to how stockings and hosiery (I'm sure he's imagining women's pantyhose) are non-conforming in his mind I'm not sure. In the west at least, a woman wearing pantyhose is about as conforming to gender norms as one can get.

Since I joined the farms, Autism has piqued my curiosity, I knew very little about before this past month. The more severe cases of autism like Chris-Chan do present with mental retardation and other mental disorders like Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Dissociative identity.

Is there any chance Chris is misconstruing "hose," which were form-fitting pants actually worn by men during the Renaissance?

Or does he just see that leggings don't always go up to man child size, and think it isn't Faire?

Long answer:
His Autism makes his mind refuse to adapt to the ever changing world. The closure of his Etsy account, the stream of free money (donations, sales) drying up, online "friends" refusing to take his shit anymore, having his chance for china stolen by a bully, Cole refusing to bow to his demands, and his mother's impending doom all contradict his perception of the world to the point where his mind shuts down. His mind needs some kind of coping mechanism, and his only social outlet is the internet. The only source of comfort now, is seeing someone respond to his posts. Lack of social interaction causes his grammar skills to decay, and lack of theory of mind makes him think the reader knows the context.

Google didn't reveal much but it did show that there's an anime about two girls called 'Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt'. Apparently it has 'vulgar, indecent jokes' and sexual themes. Maybe Chris has been watching it.

I've seen Panty and Stocking, and it wouldn't surprise me if Chris got his "random thought" from the show. And yes, it's vulgar; the majority of the dialogue consists of sexual innuendos and blatant dirty jokes.

It wouldn't surprise me if Chris watched it; the show is shamelessly borderline porn.
