This whole episode is why other forums laugh at us on a regular basis. KF is a boogie man to some people on the Internet, but to others we are a joke.

This incident is why we are a joke. Chris looks like the sane person here and that is just sad.

I'm not even trying to argue that we aren't a joke to others on the Internet but I don't think that we handled the whole situation that badly. The poster who came here with the faked screenshots had an agenda, but instead of allowing the agenda to flourish, we closed his two threads until we knew more, and then banned and made fun of him when we realised the text had been faked.

I don't see how that makes us look that terrible. I mean sure there's this thread now, but it's discussion worthy that Chris is aware people are saying Barb has left but doesn't find it inportant to confirm or deny them, which is interesting enough.

The OP of the fake text signed up five months ago and waited to share a fake text which got a couple of people believing it was true for half an hour, before he was banned and exposed as a liar. If that was worth it for him it says more about them than it does this forum.

And why would Barb leave? It's her house. She'd threaten to evict Chris if she was threatening anything.

We've reached critical mass. These """"trolls"""" are now being manipulated into donating money to Chris, some weens pretended Barb moved in with some non-existent aunt despite being immobile, some people here actually fucking believed it, and Chris is deftly maneuvering this whole situation into a win for him, since he gets to play the sympathy card for donations for all the subhumans who got tricked into thinking Barb left by the weens, without losing face over lying about it.

Well, we know Barb hasn't moved out, and if that was the rumour Chris was talking about then I don't think he'd leave it ambiguous like that. The whole "having to support a helpless old lady" thing is integral to the begging.

My guess is that people have been getting at him over the fact that he's buying toys and vidya with the money he supposedly needs to avoid starvation, and he hopes a "no comment" answer will stop them from asking more difficult questions. I have no doubt that it will be as successful as "ignore all Google results."

There was an aunt correne? Or Karen or something I can't remember how it was spelled..but I remember specifically her dying and Chris saying she was basically the last member of the extended family that associated with barb. So yea I believe all barbs sibling have passed.
