Blake requires three amiibos (Sonic = base; Pikachu = tail; Bowser = programming) for $39 ($12.99 x 3 ). Including tax and the cost of acrylic paint and other materials, let's round so about $43 overhead per amiibo or $430 per batch of 10. But this is not purely a for profit endeavor as he actually thinks Nintendo might notice the wonderful, autistic world of Sonichu and release it as DLC.

But cost is still important. If Chris doesn't sell the remaining 8, he's out $344.

Even with his SSI, he can't afford to keep this up if people stop buying. Or he may change to first taking orders before shipping out.

Either way, let's not pretend this is a worthwhile activity for him. He barely makes any profit on this and it takes hours to assemble these products. This is a waste of even Chris' time when you think about the opportunity cost of other things he could be doing that are more worthwhile. But the main reason this is a waste is that it continues to feed his delusions that this is a legitimate form of employment and Sonichu will one day get noticed and become a major series.
