He's expecting people to tell him he's 10/10, at which point he'll bitch at the people who said so to get him a girlfriend already. He Sets Me On Fire said:The whole post is oddly repetitive. He asked virtually the same question back in 2012. In addition, he's once again asking how pretty he is while not even smiling at the camera.
See, there is a part of him that recognizes he isn't actually handsome. But his ego wants so badly for that to not be true, he'll just demand other people magically change reality with their answers to this question.
Indeed. One thing Chris was never able to satisfactorily hide from, it seems, was that no matter how handsome his mother ... sorry, "even" his mother said he was, women would either shrink from his touch or not notice him. Even as he tried to advertise himself, he realized he was either being ignored or unnoticed. He spread a whole heapin' helpin' of himself all over Megan and swapped DNA with the Wallflower, who would have nothing to do with him romantically. So, certainly, his pernicious insecurity was probably always nagging at him. Alas, however, as you said, his ego makes any response either superfluous or inarguably wrong. There's no good way to answer the question unless you say something deceptively neutral-yet-positive.
