Him experimenting with a taser is like the time he tried to make coffee and ended up burning the house. The difference is Chris was't using the Kurig to go into another dimension. There really should be a court order preventing Chris from obtaining such items like pepper spray, tasers and bats.
There really should be a court order preventing Chris from society in general.

The coffee stuff in the bathroom was a Chris thing ? Wasn't it a Barb thing ?

Chris has officially entered the state of desperation Barb probably doesn't have much time. Using a taser to kickstart a cataclysmic event is just a way of trying to bargain a dream with a harsh reality
I'm not surprised that Barb is not involved. At this point I'm willing to bet she wants him dead so she can have that $400 mattress to herself. After all, no man would want her now, except for her son.

Screenshots? Archives?
Praetor showed their purchase history of a pikachu mask and a taser on November 15, 2020:

Praetor’s purchase archive
That’s the only evidence I could find so far.

Barb is pretty much just alive and nothing else. Consider her as a "dumb terminal" for Chris's antics.

I don't think it was ever specified. The CWCki just mentions the frayed extension cord and it being in the bathroom. Isn't Chris more of a soda guy anyway? Just check out his old MyCokeRewards transactions...

IIRC due to the amount of shit in the house, there was an extension cord running between the kitchen (location of the Keurig) and location of the power socket (the bathroom), and the way the cord was positioned meant that the cord was worn down as the door was opened and closed.

So, when Chris turned on the Keurig that fateful morning, the cord sparked and so ignited the house because of the amount of flammable crap everywhere.
