[February 2021 - ????] DSP Tries It: Divinity: Original Sin II

"an RPG where if you equip an item you lose the equipment weight? what the fuck? i was over encumbered and i equipped the armor and lost the weight? that's weird. i've never seen a game do that before"

doesn't every fucking game do that? like every single fallout? i can't think of a single game that doesn't do that except Dark Souls and that does it in a DIFFERENT way to begin with.

also the equipment weight is fundamentally for what you are CARRYING, not what you're WEARING. phil continually proves what an idiot he is every time he opens his mouth even over the most mundane of details.

He didn't realize he was standing in water earlier when his cursor was hovering over it and explaining that it was water. Or that the oil he was standing in for a different fight was flammable. Even the simplest terrain effects are too much for Phil's brain.

Remember: we're talking about a man who didn't change the oil in his car because he thought the car dealer would call him about it.

Of course Phil would trade a female Elf who shows a lot of skin for Fane that literally has none at all.

This is shaping up to be his simultaneously best and worst playthrough he's had in years. Seeing this tard fumbling through menus, stunning and poisoning himself, shooting at thin air and wondering why he's missing, crying like the manchild he is with an extended hands-off controller rant when his electronic toy didn't let him win, not understanding any mechanics or trying to, inadvertently fucking himself over time and time again because he's paying zero attention... Takes me back to the time where he yelled at the game for not knowing how to use rations in MGS. If only the chat wasn't there, though you could say that him craning his neck every 2 seconds to let chat play the game for him and then still end up getting destroyed because he doesn't know what to do unless you literally tell him step by step what to do on the controller adds to the experience.

This is cool because I'm getting that positi- that positive vibe that I had when I watched TIHYDPs back in 2014, I'm getting it back now.
*Stars of David and hand rubbing intensifies*
I'm getting that GROOOOOVE back I'm getting that VIIIIIBE back I'm ready for fun stuff I hope you guys are ready too.

i may just be an insane person but i think phil isn't wearing pants. I was only half looking, but saw movement that looked like he moved his leg up too high and showed bare knee. i could also just be hallucinating from the 40 minutes he spent in menus.
