in like the mid-ish 2000s people kept comparing me to a wide variety of various popular anime styled characters with blue hair for a bit. looking back at it it doesn't feel like a real memory despite me knowing it was real. I think that feeling is due to a combo of just how wide a spectrum of personalities it was and because blue hair went from being the "cool/wacky character from show/game" thing to "IRL fun police" in the public consciousness post 2012 OWS sabotage shitshow. I am very glad I never followed through on actually dying my hair blue in response to the comparisons lmao. Probably would end up looking like fucking ninja or something given how weird I look.

More recent "comparisons" that lasted from 2016 or 2017-ish to early 2020 were strangers online accusing me of either being somehow 3 different fictional characters from homestuck but real somehow or just literally an alt account of Andrew Hussie (or Sam Hyde but that's not related). I don't now what the fuck caused this because I never used a Homestuck related avi anywhere online till the inside joke shit on this site but whatever was fucking happening there it stopped once people started screaming about corona and never came back.
I'm genuinely relieved it stopped but I also sometimes kind of miss the weird fuckers that would come out of the woodwork and make claims like that unprovoked because of how surreal it was. No stupid bitch I am not Karkat/Dave/Davepeta/whatever the fuck else. Go into the mountains and think about your life for the next 5 years before making a retarded impossible claim again. It'd be one thing if it was dumbass kids claiming it or some kinda jokey thing but it was usually grown ass fucking adults probably into that otherkin shit doing it non-jokingly.
