Fighting for my life 06/06/20 - Amberlynn will soon be seeing her mother, for the first time in 12 years

It is "creatinine" and "creatinine clearance." It is pronounced like it is written. How is this so hard for tubs?
She talked with the doctor on the phone for 30 mins but he didn't tell her what stage her cancer is in?

I'm not a doctor, but is this normal?

What about that post made by Dana's friend where she says Amber talked with Dana over the phone and she said it's stage 2?
They probalby don't know. They have cancer or precancerous cells, but have no idea what the extent of her cancer is. That requires more testing to see how big tumors are and if she has cancer moving around her body.

She might have been referring to grading of the tumor cells. Different concept. All you need for that is a microscope and some cancer.
Couldn’t Becky make a good case for it in court, as she was AL’s caregiver and AL and mom are basically estranged? I know Becky and AL aren’t married, but still.
Kentucky has no common law marriage. Amberlynn can leave stuff to Becky, but Becky will get nothing if Amberlynn dies intestate. I would expect Becky to push for marriage in the case of surgery required just to ensure she gets all of the money and future revenue from the fatarse youtube channel.

Is there no wiggle room or room to contest a lack of a will? We should have a KY bar certified lawyer on hand at this point.

@sperginity can you interpret what she is saying about her kidney tests?
I'm late af, apologies

she is talking about creatinine, a waste product that is cleared (excreted out of the body) by the kidneys. Creatinine clearance is how quickly creatinine is being cleared from the body, you need more info on patients like their weight, sex, age, etc to calculate it since the rate of clearance is different depending on each factor. It can be an important number, but generally it doesn't matter if your creatinine levels are normal. If you have elevated creatinine levels they can use your clearance to figure out if you are making a whole bunch of extra creatinine for some reason, or if you are making a normal amount that isn't being excreted from the body quickly enough. Getting creatinine out of the body is one of the main purposes of dialysis, excess makes people ill. If they really get worried you have to do a 12 or 24 hour urine collection, imagine a HUGE lab container for an entire day worth of piss, so they can more accurately assess what is wrong.

Depending on the lab software, the results can look like a math problem at the bottom and confuses the fuck out of tons of people. I am guessing her numbers were so weird because body weight is one of the numbers used to calculate creatinine clearance. The way the results printed out might have been dictated by people who never anticipated patients so heavy, or at least didn't have them in mind.

she is pronouncing it like creatine, the supplement you see athletes and weight lifters take, which is a different substance generated by the body related to skeletal muscle. Doctors who are still in residency routinely order creatine instead of creatinine so it is a common mistake, its only two letters of difference.

I just thought of something...

Would Stage 2 be if they find that the cancer has spread downward to the cervix? It could be that they not only biopsied cells from the endometrium, but also from her cervix or/and her vagina. I could see them doing that- especially if she has never had a Pap smear before.

The law has a process for so called "intestate succession" (who gets what when someone dies without a will). Becky is a legal stranger and has no right to anything without a will directing it. If Becky wants everything, she needs a will directing it whether or not they are married. Not even marriage will do it for her because Amberlynn has surviving parents.

As an armchair doctor from reddit I would just like to say if it’s in the stage 4 she is stage fucked. Actually she’s completely fucked if it’s in the mid-stages.

Tee hee omg guys I am so sorry if I look sickly and pale. I couldn't tell but everyone around me kept saying it and well tee hee I DO have cancer. So I am sooo sorry if I am triggering you guys with how sick I look, #gotothegyno #finallysomeonecares

Girls is HAPPY, she should at least wait for her oncology appointment to see what she's dealing with first. A little humility would be nice, Amber. Geez.

I'd be willing to bet lardy here just got a regular diagnosis, maybe a benign tumor or something that can easily be treated and she's just cashing in on this by claiming it's the big C-word. Well, time will tell.

Based on her current health problems (many ongoing since months) my bet is on Stage 3. Of course there is also the possibility that it's precancerous cells and she will milk it being cancer while it's not, and come out later with apologies for misunderstanding the doctor, but in all honesty (and unlike her) her body probably doesn't lie.

For her own sake it will be easier to deal with the shitstorm if it turns out she doesn't have cancer, than going through treatments.

Can she even get surgery at her current weight? Chantal had a hysterectomy, but she's a good +/- 200 elbees lighter than Amber. Also, Chantal was pre-cancer. IMHO, even if Amber is "only" stage 1, her hysterical reaction was entirely justified. At her weight, the earliest, mildest cancer is a death sentence. If she's too fat for surgery, she's finished. If she tries to undergo surgery in her current condition...

This is the most rational she's ever been. Her histrionics were as valid as the weird bravado we see now. Getting that YT coin is the smartest thing she can do. As for policing YT comments and talking about makeup, why not? If she was smart, she'd pay for inpatient weight loss, but is she really that wealthy?

If anything, the bravado is a good sign. I could see a person in her situation just noping out, refusing/delaying care, and eating ornj chicken 'til the end. Smuglynn is the only -lynn who makes it out alive.

They would need to at least visualise, and preferably biopsy, organs and lymph nodes which are nearby.

She hasn't had sentinel node biopsies and she hasn't had a PET scan. They literally can't stage her at this point. At most, they might have discovered some cells from a primary in another location, indicating at least local spread but they wouldn't give a stage based on that - they would do further investigation.

That said, significant unexplained weight loss doesn't typically happen until cancer is in later stages.
