Still, I'm laughing my ass off that the dude who banned and virtue signaled over a tiddy fighter got outed as a gay pedo sex pest.

My only fear is idpol to overtake everything and then the history is rewritten how women/troons/gays/etc were always a part of the FGC (they were there, like token minorities, but not the 50% like people try to pretend it is), the straight white males (HAHAH) just didn't want it to be so. Because, okay, we got apologies and Wiz's head; going by history, do you really think that's a good enough apology? We all know what comes next, especially if they want to try and salvage that sweet sweet sponsorship dollar. EVO makes the changes, then it spreads to other majors/Capcom Pro Tour; congratulations, another community is dead.

While the Wiz stuff isn't involving women (for now obvious reasons); Smash has become part of the FGC whether we like it or not... and they've had a number of names getting dropped about rape/molestation/etc. Even a girl gave blowjobs to a 14 year old when she was 24. So while Wiz is unique to EVO, all the Smash stuff coming out alongside it is going to affect everyone.

I know i'm quoting from 12 pages back, but goddamn this sounds exactly like the speedrunning community. The OG speedrunning community was legitimately amazing and super chill, just a bunch of dudes who sat back having fun trying to set records, everyone was fairly close-knit. No politics, only infighting came from cheating and such.

Now you have whatever the fuck GDQ has turned into. Dilation stations, trannies every which way, getting banned from events and communities for wronkthink. There's still a few OGs hanging around but ugh.

All I'll say is this is what the speedrunning community looks like now.

That was a genuine question. With how quickly things are moving everywhere, I wasn't paying much attention to Sonicfox. So I probably got him mistaken for another attention whore, apologies.
