Taking a shot in the dark here: I remember that a main reason the rules change was from some troon that constantly posted dumb shit in another reddit page. Said troon recently posted some retarded essay about why people should play Them's Fighting Herds (A legally distinct my little pony fighter) and something about being secure in your masculinity. Kappa roasted his ass over this and he probably complained to the head janny again. Maikky breaks easier than uncooked spaghetti and probably decided to DFE.

Whatever the real reason is, it's probably for the best. While the kappa boys brought some seriously funny shit to the table, The page had devolved into this weird cycle of retards trying to out-smug each other

This is the point: if you spend time making a fully realized logic-driven button masher automated-robotic system for your fighting game, do you believe you are going to capture new players into the core community? Or is it, in reality, just a misguided attempt to re-capture the flame of the 90s when kids would want to play fighting games at the arcade and friends' houses for birthday parties and sleepovers for an evening? If so, do you really believe kids that can't spend 5 minutes to learn a special move input will care to stick around for long enough to even become a flash in the pan bump for your game's popularity?

Final question:
If you pretend that this will, in fact, bring in new people as Street Fighter fans, then how do you cope with the fact Capcom would rather have LowTierGod and Gllty (tranny, rapist) represent them than you?

And they aren't alone in thinking that. It seems everywhere you look people believe Emezie drew these cartoons about characters taking slugs straight to the lap.

So, what's the verdict? I think we can file this one, the people involved, and even this post under "G" for

if you want to dig for more content on Emezie, he (pretty sure it's a guy) also posts on EventHubs under the name Xykes and is reviled in the comments sections of that site for showing up in every single article to somehow make it about how Street Fighter 5 is the best fighting game ever made and how all the haters obsessed with it are trolls. To clarify, he's not obsessed with Street Fighter specifically, JUST Street Fighter 5 and will shit on both 4 and 6 whenever given the opportunity.


He literally made it his entire life to whiteknight this specific game for the last 7 years. And given it's not a very well-liked game, he's been working overtime.
