Fighting Games General

Every day I regret it more and more that nobody has the time or sanity to make a FGC community watch thread. Have a troon in my local that’s claiming to have been kicked out of the official 3rd Strike discord for being a troon and how that badly affects their ability to play the game competatively. I should note that this one is far more open and annoying than the one I mentioned earlier re. the hormone injection. Freak can’t go a week without some sort of diatribe about that, or the Cero/LTG thing, or how they’re modding their stick with the trans flag and pink/blue buttons and a battop. At least the injection one can hold a conversation. Also, has anyone else noticed that most of the ones in the fgc play anime games or older 2Ds? I don’t think I’ve seen a single transgender person playing Tekken or SC for any length of time.
 
So are they gonna change up the lineup, because this shit is gonna be a disaster with how garbage the netcode is in every one of the games they have set up right now. Really I just want Killer Instinct to be back on the stage because it deserves it.

Gootecks (a third strike OG) is losing his shit since he realized that he's almost 40 and wasted his life trying to make money off fighting games in a post SFV world.


This coupled with Corona and we're heading into the midlife crisis saga of the FGC

I wouldn't mind it, say what you will about the brony team, they made a decent fighter and know how to netcode. Fuck even Fight of Animals has solid netcode and that's a shitpost in game form. These companies need to get their shit together

I honestly wouldn’t mind either, though I run into the same problem that keeps me from picking up 2D games in general. I’m not dragging 2 sticks to locals. Can’t imagine trying to guard in a 2D game without a corner to hold too. Any particular character seem more fun in it? All I’ve really seen is that the reindeer’s hurt faces amuse me.

Well, Samsho certainly is. It was never the most popular game and they fucked up when they went back on their promises for no PC exclusivity. Who the fuck takes the bitch that accused Aris of rape at her word. Where the fuck would he even assault her? The guy is comically afraid of flying and the only reason he casts EVO (RIP) every year is because he can drive there from Cali.
 
I didn't see it in the thread, so I'll shill the fuck out of the BEST FUCKING FIGHTING GAME EVER.

After disappointing every-fucking-one with the lame-ass Gundam Versus (which is realistacally, just a prototype of Extreme Versus 2), Namco is finally announcing the PS4 port of the arcade game Gundam Extreme Versus Maxiboost On. coming on July 30.
its the best 2-on-2 figher, usually beating Tekken in the arcades Japan in terms of overall usage.

Its a very fast, yet very tactical game as it requires you to work with your partner. Despite having over 180 units in the game, there are only few duplicates, but even then, they still play differently.

Yeah, there is never going to be a PC port (but what about Gundam Crossrays, Gundam Breaker, that came to steam), if the dissapointing shit Gundam Versus PS4 never made it to PC, this game is never coming to PC.

I was actually just searching for one in CW. Shocked it hasn't happened yet.

There was some drama earlier this week about a commentator talking about MK11 and how 3 female twitter users said some of the costumes made them uncomfortable, or something and the commentator was admonishing people for not being sensitive.
