The feminine urge to take something that's working perfectly fine and fuck with it.

Not gonna sperg too much about it but the main reason I watch(ed) Filian in the first place is that she's basically a normal streamer in an industry that's increasingly being treated as a backdoor to jpop bullshit. Hopefully that doesn't change.

On the other hand, if she feels like being a react andy has run its course and she wants to try more high concept shit, happy for her. Follow ur dreams. I might not watch it but somebody will.

That said, I'm pretty convinced that she's had a whole ass team and a studio space for a while now and the apartment full of folding chairs thing is just kayfabe. So this isn't necessarily indicative of anything major. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. We'll see.

Let's see what happens, but it might be a very big change in content. I'm pretty sure Shawn and Jayn are involved since before her Japan trip early 2025, where they started setting all this up.

If filian is coming back with a 2d Vtuber, this whole hiatus has been wasted because her physicality is her entire appeal.

If she's coming back at all, there is no way filian is going to earn back the money and views that she lost from this massive, indefinite hiatus.

If she's coming back with a 3d model, it better make CodeMiko look like a bum, or it's an extra-wasted hiatus.

If she's really gone on hiatus just to make a fashion brand with her squadron of Asian men, then that's an L. No one cares about filian merch, we want to see her on stream and flipping from one end of the screen to the other.

If she comes back, she's going to have to go back to her roots of doing Jackass performances, while reacting, or doing YLYL reactions. The squadron of Asian men is holding her back, and all they had to do was replace the cheap Ukrainian company running the Vtuber Awards.

If I'm wrong, and she's just been island-hopping in the Philippines this whole time with her boyfriend, and her return is a huge success, then I'll eat my crow like a man. But whatever success the redebut brings, I doubt it will outweigh the lost revenue of just putting the cartwheels and YLYL in the bag.

After what happened recently with Saba fans canceling membership + unsubbing.

The longer she may delay the comeback, even if there's an ARG taking place it will not make much difference if there's not an actual teaser to be dropped.

Just tease a date and time and be done with the theatrics on when coming back & shit.

Glad i managed to snatch her cup at a fair price because i know the FOMO shit mindset. And unless I'm earning crazy cheap summs weekly i kinda don't see myself spending $240 USD on a plastic design of the Filipino purple cat girl.

Anyways this among other merch of her have been as of lately been increasing it's value and idk if it's because she likely going to rebrand on OC design to pump the hell out of merch when she returns.

So basically this merch right now it's collector FOMO shit wise for anyone who like to have the very old version of filian based on rindo's design ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

May she really comeback next month or not saying the hype it's going to die off, But it's certainly will not be that big of a difference in my opinion.
 
Imagine being so sought after in a sea of copy-paste vtuber girls that your going missing is enough that people beg for you to return, and STILL don't do it.

I swear women actively try to fail in everything they do. I watched another semi-pngtuber who would actively, almost deliberately take a 2 hour break in prime local streaming time, and another would push herself to 12 hour streams to then miss the next day's primetime slot too. And yet, they succeed, cause gooners.

I don't think it has to be on that kind of level. She did fine with just the ones she already had. Just something actually owned by her so she can properly market it without having to jump through loopholes would be enough. That & maybe better tracking? I'm not sure how much it can get better for her if she's not using a suit.
