Well... It is TECHNICALLY feasible, and not just for Viera, thanks to the magic blue juice we call "Fantasias" which has since been nebulously canonized by a side quest.

By virtue of the fact that they canonized Fantasias as being actual, in-world things that people can get and use at all, it is canon, like it or not.

Your argument amounts to "But they haven't SHOWN someone has changed sex with a Fantasia yet!" when we already know that's a function of using Fantasias. You're being pedantic at this point.
