It does the quests for you (Questionable, TextAdvance) while walking around for you (VNavmesh), teleporting for you (Lifestream), and doing the combat for you (Rotation Solver Reborn) while queueing the duties for you (Autoduty, though it doesn't have Questionable integration yet.), and tells you exactly where to dodge to in ~50% of all content (BossMod Reborn, Splatoon).
Don't want to do the MSQ? It does the gathering (GatherBuddy Reborn), fishing (AutoHook) and crafting (Artisan) for you, or Triple Triad! (Saucy)
Fancy doing a Deep Dungeon? Here's where all of the traps might be without you having to use a Pomander of Sight (PalacePal). Also, here are all of the aggro radii of the monsters so that you don't accidentally piss off more than you want to fight at this moment (Necrolens).
Are you devious and want to set special things up for Ocean Fishing, or Chocobo Racing or more? SND's got you covered because with Lua scripting you can do whatever the hell you want.

Now that you've saved all of this time, you can get back to hot steamy rapesex with that catgirl who has tits bigger than her head who totally isn't a fat ugly guy irl.

EDIT: btw this shit didn't fly in WoW because they allowed QoL mods to exist and so could just say "fuck you i'm getting rid of the framework you use for this" and the other ones caught you actual bans in actual banwaves for using them that said "You have been banned for using X Plugin, fuck off" rather than the incredibly vague info that SE gives.

FFXIV is the only MMO I was sexually harassed on. I generally play dudes and made the mistake of picking Hrothgar for my main. Beast knights are pretty neat, imo, and since most people play humans and races that look human I didn't expect trouble. That changed when another Hrothgar /doted on me and tried to get me to cyber with him. Blocked him and moved on. Reading this shit convinced me I made the right choice dropping the game after beating Endsinger.

No matter the race you play, you will get harassed by a weirdo if you’re even remotely decent looking. I never idle around in popular areas; I always go to my house to avoid social interactions as much as possible especially when waiting for DPS queues to pop.

I don’t know why they act like it’s Second Life when a lot of us just want to play a fucking MMORPG as it should be played. I partly blame how far the modding community spread. I remember back in early 2020, mods weren’t as decent: there were no sculpts, no customized sized bodies yet… all you could do, really, is enhance your vanilla face, put on a modded hair and some clothes, and I’m pretty sure that there were a lot less degenerates back then. As soon as the modding community found ways to make the weirder stuff possible, it went downhill from there.

Yeah, I've played numerous MMOs over the years and the only time I've had someone creep on me was in this game.

I play a highlander male hyur. Bu I was doing some FATE grinding with this male Hrothgar and dude started saying creepy ass shit. Said I'm not at all interested and left the group.

Everything in the story has been extraordinarily mid since then, too, except for the Pandæmonium raid series, so it's not like you're missing out on much.

The Lopofell mod from the Tatermoon Archive has been taken down due to it not being DT compatable.

I have also been cursed with the knowledge that Loporrit Sync exists. It's Mare for people who got banned from Mare for being pedophiles or having malware outfits.

some people join the lala collabs one just to get screenshots of people being ephebophiles and then get a bunch of them banned

The FFXIV community on X has been going days and days complaining and girls-powering about how men are disrespecting women as a whole in the game because of all the supposed harassment, abuse, cheating on partners, lying, etc, and they include trans women as if they are not elephants in the room. Fucking ridiculous.

Legit I’ve met so many people who legitimately don’t know what their skills do in mmos because they’ve overly relied on mods to tell them what to do.

It’s fucking embarrassing and zoomer brained to need every combo highlighted. Might as well just run an auto clicker.

The only time I ever dealt with creeps in this game was, believe it or not, all the way back in 1.0. The community degeneracy goes back that far. The only difference was that the sex pests didn’t have the technology and modding tools back then like now.
