It is funny they decided to add a black hairstyle (a fan-made hair contest winner no less) and completely fucked it up to the point it doesn't even look like a black person hair anymore, they made zero attempt to get the curly hair right so it just looks like straight hair. I look forward to SE being called racist (again) and this being a PR nightmare for them.

Me though, I'm just tired of the lack of long hairstyles, why has ever new hair introduced since Endwalker been short? There's some nice hairstyles that were also fan contest winners but they'll probably take an eternity to get made, and who knows if they fuck those up too.

This. It's why I never use long hairstyles. They clip with 90% of the stuff you can wear and if you're a stickler about that, it'll bother you to no end. Even seeing clipping hair on npcs during cutscenes makes me cringe a little.

anyway there are over a dozen "black" hairstyles on XIVMA and they're all compatible with hats, other than the more afro-like ones

DT was so rushed that we're getting the actual voice processing done between 7.0 and 7.1, please look forward to it
 
Isn't the tranny still on strike with the other VA's? So I doubt it's any new dialogue, probably just remastered existing stuff.
