Even if you name a strat you'd like to use the illiterate mouthbreathers in PF will do whatever they're most familiar with even if the strat is incompatible and causes wipes. People like to say Hector Hectorson ruined Pf because everyone does his strats even if they aren't raidtranny optimized because they're accessible with animated diagrams, but its the kind of retards in PF who are ruining PF.

That's something a bunch of stupid angst middle schoolers would do on 4chan and be told to 'fuck off' after. To clear the misunderstanding, I'm not asking for a personal army, and never will. Just curious if this person does have a FFXIV profile, or he's just another poser.
A cursory glance on Lodestone didn't show anything, but that doesn't really mean much. He could have set his page to private to stop people looking him up, especially if he feels he's some kind of target online which is highly likely if he associates with Quinn much. Looking on Instagram for his BlueSky handle didn't return anything (there's quite a big XIV community on there of mostly gposers), and there's not a whole lot of information to work with. I'm assuming he'd play on NA but even that's not guaranteed. If he didn't just use someone else's character or mods, I can tell you that hat is only given to winners of various game contests on social media etc. Plus you get people who use lore appropriate names and his BlueSky one isn't lore accurate for Lalafell.
To be clear, I played FFXIV from HW through EW. I quit because I was fed up with every job in the game being the same, and every boss fight being the same. It sucks because WoW offers, in my opinion, a greater variety of content. The problem is the story. I'm big on lore. And FFXIV has a lot of issues, but it wasn't outright gay until they hired Wuk Latroon. WoW has more cutscenes, more intrusive dialogue, more standing around listening to Arator cry like a bitch because he's a paladin who doesn't like violence. I also don't want to give my money to people who think we need to be cutting dicks off more children.
MMOs having a large social aspect means they're susceptible to social media rot, which is what really causes huge damage long term.
Currently it's just non locked for glamour reasons.
I was always skeptical they're gonna re-run FF7, given how 1.0, and ARR was replete with VII's references. (If the entire Golden Saucer and Meteor thing didn't clue you in.) They even dug up the Weapons for ShB.
There's still shit that they can mine from FF7 if they wanted to, but yeah, it was pretty obvious it was FanFest shit given that there was precedence (Tifa, Aerith and Cloud all were FanFest goodies.)
To be fair, they've been doing a ton of what a lot of people considered "emergency glass" QoL stuff. Felt like when it was mined, that it was simply just more of the same. (Low numbers? time to launch the VII expac!)
