Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

Will I be able to drag the AI to the end kicking and screaming?
If you mean will you be able to wall two wall, not often. Lots of walls that don't vanish till a pack is dead, or packs that don't spawn until the previous pack dies.

If you mean will you be able to do the content with Duty Support in general, that's how I did it the first time to make sure I was learning mechanics and not rely on getting carried by other players.

I’ve always wondered what kind of person mains healer. Apparently they’re trannies, soyboys, and homosexuals. Meanwhile you have tank chads like Xenos here.

Wow. I know that Olivia person, lmao. Wild.

The person talking at that timestamp, wow
:story:

Strong catboy in a dress vibes.

Pretty damn close. They're a shotcaller in Frontlines and are a catgirl in a maid outfit.

The AI is perfectly fine with it. I expect a lot of players to have difficulty with the multiple mechanics resolving simultaneously, especially since they've upped the amount of mechanics that don't get floor telegraphs and instead require you to watch physical objects in the arena. They've also tweaked the trust AI so they often don't move immediately to a safe spot which means if your approach is to simply follow them around, you probably won't be moving quick enough to dodge things.

It's good shit and you shouldn't have any trouble if you've done any high-end content at all, but I've met some absolutely braindead whiners who play this game.

Just finished the last MSQ dungeon and woo boy this is going to frustrate the turbo-casual playerbase. I wonder if there's already forum posts about it "being too hard pls nerf SE"
There are posts saying the trusts should have an easy mode because of the new dungeons on the official forums.

I wonder if SE has a way to track how often a cutscene is skipped.

Because I want them to shit their pants over how many people are just skipping this expac story.

I heard that the last area is just totally filler. Will I actually not miss anything worthwhile story wise if I skip all of it?

I’ve watched every cutscene up to this point but I just wanna get it over with right now.

The first two areas are filler. Area 3 has Krile lore, and area 4 has Erenville lore.

Friend said to me other than that Krile bit too you can skip away because there is nothing of real relevance. I did the same with Stormblood and end of EW and honestly have no regrets. Fuck, I just reminded myself how up it's own ass the game was with Stormblood. I don't hate Lyse either she was just present too much and it was close to a good story. They should have used her as a guide rather than this resistance person.

The thing I am wondering how many people are going to drop til .1, .2 or just unsub altogether. For me personally work picks up September to April and I cannot think of a time I will have so much time and I am pretty much considering skipping the expansion, I have a bad feeling this is going to be like StB where the post was just nothing to write home about. I am curious actually what Zapla thinks of it too because she was very public about her distain for EW. She was hoping for a slice of life vacation and it clearly is not it. She said in streams that her break point is if relic weapons were fucked up again like in EW.

It's pretty major though for SQE since they were banking heavily on FF14 as they are financially not doing well at all.

1st quarter: Wuk meeting her nanny who has amnesia and Wuk trying to make her remember or some bullshit, a huge waste of time here considering that it's Wuk.

2nd quarter: You meet the cyborg guy who took care of the lizard kid in his human form, nothing much happens here either, more cringe between you and Wuk reenacting a play. Waste of time, skip.

3rd quarter: Krile lore here, you are trying to make her and her parents enjoy ice cream but it's awkward but somehow G'raha with his mukbang powers manage to achieve this, the infamous quizzes take place here and you learn the backstory of more doomed reflections and Krile's parents.

4th quarter: Erenville says goodbye to her mommy here, but for some reason riding flying mice is in her bucket list.

Overall what a pity of a zone, it looked cool at the start when I went there and they tried to tackle the theme of death, but this is Yawntrail, interesting but horribly executed and wasted ideas hindered by the Kween Kat.

I quite like it. (I should clarify I’m talking about the dungeon, not this shitty expansion lmao) I actually had quite a bit of fun with the dungeons and trials. Zoraal Ja’s trial was really cool as well.

Quest-wise, I actually quite liked the part where you arrive in the dome and until you get to the endless area. Then that parts an absolute fucking slog, and then it picks up more with the final dungeon. Endwalker pacing.

Yes. Please just skip it. It slows to an absolute fucking crawl right at the end. It’s meant to pad out the expansion. Like amaurot, but I don’t give a fuck.

Watched a first clear of that. Mechanics looked like a pure skill check. But that battle theme fucking sold me
Honestly I don’t even remember the mechanics, I just remember the presentation was cool. (And the music. Soken delivers.) Actually got me to focus after the valigarmanda trial nearly put me to sleep.

I had fun with the valigarmanda trial, but I was also playing healer in a party of retards that was trying their damnedest to die.

Cleared the fourth dungeon and into the fifth area; wasn't expecting a knock off FF8 Esthar in my Old West zone, but whatever... the areas in this expansion feel schitzophrenic. Almost like I'm playing Star Tropics 2 on the NES, and every area is different because you're traveling through time.

Unless it's strictly to WvW then all I can say is you're going to grow newfound appreciation for dawntrail and the skill levels of the average FFXIV player after it.

If it's to WvW then you'll be fine, that shit makes frontlines look like 1970's pong.
Wuk Lamat is the Poochie of FFXIV.
I hope she fucks off to her own planet in 7.1.
