Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

Next week is the new "Eureka" area. 5.4 is coming this december with the last eden raids, some dungeon in matoya's cave and some explorer mode that let's you fuck around in dungeons w/o enemies.

i’m pretty excited to see what the final eden tier is going to look like. the current one wasn’t bad in savage minus shivas cunt.

I don't like Eureka so I'm not messing with this shit. The gameplay is about as fun as watching paint dry. The relic is going to be best in slot when all the other content is finished already.

Organizing a static with a December release date is a nightmare. Some people will have holiday plans (Maybe not with corona), and students tend to change schedules in january. Looking forward to the raid but not looking forward to maintaining a group. That is the only viable solution, because North America Party Finder makes me want to stab my eyes with forks.

honestly yeah. unless you’re already in one, you’re kind of screwed until after the holidays for any progression parties.

In regards to recruiting for a static, it's far from too late. Hardcore players stay in the same groups for a long time and you're not joining them unless you're friends with them anyway.

I don't focus on week 1 clears anymore. Far too many groups advertise as "week 1 clear" but then they suck too hard and you get drama/disband. You attract incels/neets if you advertise hardcore hours, usually people who should min/max their social skills instead of their dps.

What will likely happen if you recruit too early is that people have life changes and you get flakes.

It's a pain to manage week 3 and week 4 due to holidays, then you need to re-adjust schedules for the rest of the tier. It's quite literally the worst time of the year to release a raid tier.

I never understood what the appeal of having a plot since it serves no real purpose for gameplay unless people wanted it for rp stuff. I have my tiny fc room and I'm content with that. Not gonna drive myself insane over virtual, make believe housing.

You can have a chokobo stable and train it there/change the color of feathers, and grow some things to exchange for some items in the garden. But yeah, it pales in comparison to real housing, just a nice place to store all those presents you receive in quests.

I just use my fc house for all of that. I'm one of the like 3 people still active in my fc so the mansion is practically mine anyway.

Have a personal house, tried for a fc house but no luck. I'll just have to macro buy one later when the relocating settles down.

It's really lame you can't convert personal to fc. I see why the other way isn't allowed, but not p to fc.

Well it's confirmed you don't need to do the Southern Front to upgrade the relics. Just do FATES and dungeons.
 
from what i’ve seen it’s not too bad? like way better than eureka for sure. you get mounts right away and fates are constantly popping up.

plus if you’re leveling the EXP is not bad at all.
 
yeah but doing the relic quest via quests and dungeons, is infinitely faster then Bozja.

also i got to do one of those 1v1 duels, fuck whoever made this design decision, they are borderline impossible.

Im talking purposely bullshit difficult for the sake of being difficult.

I've seen someone beat it before. You get a housing item apparently from downing it. I got selected yesterday for the chance at the 1 v 1 but a WHM got in and she got destroyed in like 1 minute because she just stood there like a retard while the robot pointed right at her, charged an attack and then yeeted her into the death field.

In terms of my opinion of Bozja, it's alright. It's mostly a thing for leveling side jobs and I got the Gabriel mount on like my 10th lockbox so after I finish the story, I'll have little reason to ever step foot in there again. I'll probably just grind out the Crystals for the relics for all my jobs.
